Such an easy and enjoyable morning. Pickup was on time, the ride to the cave was comfortable, and the buggy saved us a longer walk through the forest. Paradise Cave was beautiful, especially the enormous formations near the main chambers.
I had seen photos of Paradise Cave before visiting, but they really don't show how enormous it is. The walkway makes it easy to explore, and the temperature inside was wonderfully cool. We finished before lunch, which worked perfectly with our schedule.
We took the morning pickup from Dong Hoi and everything was very smooth. The cave itself was much bigger than I expected, with beautiful formations all along the wooden walkway. A great option if you only have half a day available.
Paradise Cave was the perfect half-day trip for us. The buggy ride through the jungle was fun, and after a short walk we reached the cave entrance. Inside was cool, peaceful and absolutely huge. We were back around noon, so we still had the rest of the day to explore Phong Nha.
