7:15 AM - 7:45 AM: Begin your adventure with a convenient hotel pick-up from Dong Hoi city or Dong Hoi train station.
8:30 AM - 8:45 AM: Pick-up from your hotel/homstay in the scenic Phong Nha Village area.
09:00 AM: Paradise Cave Exploration: Guests will enjoy a 1.6 km electric vehicle ride and then walk up to the entrance of Paradise Cave. The cave opens into a vast chamber with ceilings 40-60 meters high and a width of 120 meters, offering a cool escape from the summer heat. Scenic Walk: Wooden staircases lead to stunning stalactites and stalagmites, highlighted by soft LED lighting. Known as the "Palace in the Heart of the Earth," the cave features impressive rock formations and unique structures. Natural Wonders: Inside, see nature’s wonders like flower-shaped stalagmites and stalactite waterfalls. Notable formations include the Rong House, Cham Towers, and Quan Am Buddha. 12:00 AM: After visiting Paradise Cave, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant within the national park, featuring regional specialties in a tranquil and spacious setting.
01:30 PM: Phong Nha Cave Exploration: After lunch, head to Phong Nha Cave. Board a traditional dragon boat for a 30-minute cruise on the Son River, surrounded by stunning scenery. Scenic Boat Ride: Enjoy the serene river views, riverside villages, and majestic limestone mountains. The boat ride leads to the entrance of Phong Nha Cave, revealing its magnificent formations. A very well-organised and enjoyable experience. Exploring the caves by boat was one of the highlights of the tour, offering a different perspective on the landscape and its impressive rock formations. Jessica Tra was an excellent guide: professional, engaging and attentive throughout. She managed the group and timing smoothly, making sure everyone felt included while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a great way to discover the area and definitely an experience I would recommend.

It was simply great! Jessica as a tour guide was sensational. She impressed with her knowledge and expertise. She was able to answer all questions. She guided us through the whole day. It was a lot of fun and brought us a lot of joy. So it was perfect all around!
Ask a local about the state of the river before you go. Some cave activities may not be available when the river is running high after a storm in the mountains. The caves are exceptionally beautiful, awe inspiring and otherworldly. The guide was helpful and funny. The lunch restaurant smelled bad and had hole-in-the-floor bathrooms. Food was below Vietnamese average level. If you can manage to rent a motorbike or a car and go on your own, admission fees to a cave range around 200k-300k VND per person.
The trip was very nicely planned, we visited the 2 caves Paradise and Phong Nha within 6 hours, not too long but still enough time to rest in between. Our tour guide Tra was very friendly and made sure to check on all of us during our trip. We were also informed much about history and held very interesting conversations about the topic.

Our tour with Lily was great. Dark cave and water park were the highlights for us. Lily helped with taking photos during zipline and dark caving.
The tour was wonderful. I started from Hue, and the pickup went as smoothly as the drive. First, we went to Paradise Cave, where our tour guide David was able to tell us quite a bit. We also had enough time to explore on our own. After a traditional lunch, we continued to Phong Nha Cave; here, too, David gave us time to let the impressions sink in before he shared some exciting facts about the cave and its history. It was a very long day, but both the organization and all the tours went without any problems. It was impressive that David, even though we were also exploring the caves on our own, always knew where everyone was. I can recommend the tour to everyone; it is also suitable for children.
