Ended up in a very small group and Emmet was excellent! Very informative and knowledgeable, he was also very accommodating of our questions, interests, and parts of the camp where we wanted to spend a little more time on. Highly recommend.
My husband and I really enjoyed having Emmet as our guide for the Dachau Concentration Camp. It is a somber tour and he kept the tour respectful and real. We learned about the complexities of how the concentration came about and their progression and the horrific evolution. Emmet was on time, very friendly, knowledgeable, and made it about us as well. Emmet was our wonderful tour guide for our Dachau Concentration camp experience! He took care of all the tickets and navigated the train and bus for us making for a stress free experience! He was knowledgeable about Dachau and moved us through the camp telling stories and giving important facts. Though Dachau is a somber experience, Emmet is friendly and we were able to have lighthearted moments as well. My daughter and 15 yr old grandson enjoyed it as well. We booked a private tour of the Dachau Memorial Camp. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Our guide Emmet was fantastic. From my son who bombarded him with question after question about this very important but harrowing part of history, to getting my daughter who has not much love of history, totally engaged and awed by the whole story and indeed the broader aspect and politics of the time. Very emotional, the stories are very powerful, and this comes with Emmets own clear passion for the subject and the ease he has imparting his knowledge. If visiting Bavaria do not skip a tour in Dachau. And if Emmet is your guide you will leave with an indepth knowledge of The Third Reich and the terrible cruelities that happened not that long ago in reality 🫣 When we return to Munich we will without doubt be booking Emmet for a private tour of the city as he gave us some tips on trains and tickets that saved us a fortune.

This is a very insightful, respectful tour for anyone who wishes to learn about such a chilling time in history. Our guide Emmet was incredibly knowledgeable about the site and as importantly, the history that lead up to the concentration camp system. Along with learning about Dachau and the Holocaust, we were welcome to ask questions and take time to reflect throughout the duration of the tour.
