Robert is an awesome guide!!
Robert is an amazing tour guide! He is so knowledgeable about all the monuments and memorials. He shared many facts about each monument /memorial and also had pictures to complement and enhance the tour. Also, he proved to be extremely patient and punctual! Robert arrived to our hotel 10 minutes before the time of the scheduled tour. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this experience!!

Absolutely Wonderful Evening Tour – Highly Recommend! | 5 of 5 bubbles
We booked a 2-hour evening monuments & memorials tour on June 23 and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip to Washington DC.Rob and Don were fantastic from start to finish. Communication was lightning-fast, and they were incredibly flexible — we finished dinner early and asked if they could pick us up an hour ahead of schedule. They accommodated us right away with no issues. Rob even spoke basic Mandarin, which made our almost-80-year-old grandma (who speaks very little English) feel so comfortable and included. Their breadth of historical knowledge was impressive, and they tailored the tour perfectly to our group’s interests and pace. The weather that evening was phenomenal, which made everything feel even more magical. We were able to spend extra time at the monuments we loved most. Toward the end, they went out of their way to let us walk up to the Lincoln Memorial without charging extra time as we were winding down — such a thoughtful gesture (we even offered to pay, but they insisted it was fine). The pedicab ride itself was smooth, they navigated the city expertly, and we never felt rushed. They even brought a blanket just in case, though we didn’t need it. This is hands-down the best way to see all the major sights up close and personal, especially with a multi-generational group. We were all amazed and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We will definitely book with Nonpartisan Pedicab again if we return to DC and will recommend them to everyone!

Best Way to See the Monuments
Exceptionally accommodating and good spirited guides made our trip fantastic despite the sauna level heat and humidity in DC, everyone enjoyed our pedicab ride, which is the absolute best way to see the monuments given their distance from each other.
Operator response
Thank you, Rachel. I am so pleased you enjoyed the tour so much, even in the summer heat wave.

The best way to tour DC
We were thoroughly impressed and happy with this pedicab tour. We saw everything we wanted to see up close and personal, which would not have been possible with a bus or ecart tour. Robert was absolutely the best guide I have ever had on any tour. He was well-versed on the history of the city and the monuments and actually had pictures of what the areas looked like before the monuments, hotels etc were there. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny. The pedicab was able to carry my foldable nitro walker and is easy to get on and off for those of us with mobility issues. This is the way to go especially if there are sites or areas you want to see that are not covered by busses etc.
Operator response
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Pamela. We really try our best to make the Washington DC monuments and memorials accessible to everyone on our tours. I am so pleased you enjoyed the tour so much.

Family Fun - Trip Highlight
This pedicab tour was absolutely the highlight of our family’s trip to Washington, D.C. From the very beginning, Robert went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding experience. Since there were four of us, he even coordinated with another pedicab driver so our family could comfortably stay together throughout the tour.
What made this tour so special was the incredible combination of historical knowledge, storytelling, and customer service. Our guide shared fascinating historical information about the monuments, memorials, and buildings throughout the city, but he also brought history to life by showing us historical photographs of what many of the sites looked like in the past. The visual comparisons added a whole new dimension to the experience.
Along the way, he shared interesting anecdotes and lesser-known facts that made the tour engaging and memorable. He was especially thoughtful in making the experience enjoyable and educational for our children, keeping them interested and involved the entire time.
The monuments at night were breathtaking, and seeing them from a pedicab allowed us to cover much more ground than we could have on foot while still enjoying a personal, interactive experience. Robert's passion for Washington’s history was evident, and his enthusiasm made the tour both entertaining and informative.
If you’re visiting Washington, D.C., I highly recommend a pedicab tour with this team. It was an exceptional experience and easily the highlight of our trip.

Going to DC? You Gotta do this Tour
Robert is an outstanding guide and person; his knowledge of DC is encyclopedic, 4 hours flew by and we could have easily carried on. He also "gets" the little touches - the day we went out was sunny but chilly and he made a special trip to get a blanket for my Mom who is 90 - well done Robert! If you've never been to DC and even if you have (I had) you'll learn more from him in half a day than any book you'll read. Highly recommend him and his tours!
Operator response
Thank you, Patrick, for your wonderful review. I had a lovely time on the tour with you and your mother. Time indeed did fly by. I’m always happy to have customers so interested in our nation’s history. I’m so pleased you both enjoyed the tour so much.

A great pedicab tour
We had a wonderful tour with Robert and enjoyed it very much. His knowledge of the area including its history was exemplary! He took us on a brief monuments tour before the Georgetown tour and we saw the Washington Monument and the ongoing renovation of the reflecting pool, the Lincoln Memorial, and many other notable sites. In Georgetown we enjoyed the architecture of historical homes often elaborated upon by some of the friendly owners, Georgetown University, and we stopped at a
French Bakery for a delicious sandwich. We marveled Robert's ability to bicycle up hills as well as engaging the D.C traffic in a safe and efficient manner. Overall we would recommend this tour as Robert can customize an itinerary to include desired sites, on his tour package.
Operator response
Thank you very much for your wonderful review, Marilyn. I really enjoy the Georgetown tour even though there are some hills on the route. Even though it’s very close to downtown DC, Georgetown has its own vibe. I’m so pleased you both enjoyed the tour so much.
