Description
See a different side of Washington DC after dark on a guided night tour of the city's floodlit monuments. This tour runs on our standard enclosed coach — or you can upgrade at booking to our small-group convertible (open-top in warm months, glass-top in winter) for fresh air and unobstructed views. Choose your vehicle in the booking options below. You’ll begin the tour at the U.S. Navy Memorial, then board the bus and settle in before heading off to iconic attractions, including the White House, the Korean War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. After dark, each monument and building takes on a dramatic glow. Stronger verb, no repeat. Hop off the bus and explore the memorials with your guide, taking advantage of multiple photo opportunities. The full glittering sweep of the National Mall can be seen at the start and end of your tour, including the twinkling Tidal Basin and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

Loved our tour guide -...
Loved our tour guide - Rob who was a lifelong resident and provided so much insight into the city as well as the sites visited. For a night tour the amount of time spent at each site was timed perfectly for the tour.

Jack our tour guide did a...
Jack our tour guide did a great job explaining the various monuments. We had a lot of rain for the first two but that was out of their control. They did have a handful of ponchos available but not enough for everyone. Tony did great navigating the bus and got us a great shot of the capital building at the end despite all of the random road closures.

Awesome tour
We had Jack as our tour guide and Tony as our driver and they both were awesome. They kept the mood fun (even while we were all soaked from the rain). We laughed, learned and enjoyed all the sights!!

Dry interesting to see...
Very interesting to see so many monuments at night. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and bus was very comfortable. Only suggestion I would give to Viator is to have a flashlight or light saber like some other companies use to help find guide when it gets very dark.

A great history lesson
Our guide Nick was very knowledgeable It would be great if he had a microphone as we couldn't always hear him especially when we were walking as a group. The pickup was a little confusing as we weren't sure we were in the right spot as there was no signage. Our driver was great as well. I would suggest dropping the boat cruise and add in the Arlington cemetery in its place.

The DC Monument at night tour is a must! Not only was it beautiful but the tour guide Brittany and the driver Sheila made the experience even better.

Great way to explore DC monuments and maximize your day!
Bus driver - Sylvia - very friendly and funny! Tour guide - Deion - very captivating and knowledgeable. He kept everyone, including children, interested throughout the evening tour. Enjoyed seeing the monuments at night with no crowds and illuminated. Plus opting for the night tour allowed us to maximize time in the museums during the day. I totally recommend it!

Great experience
Definitely recommend. I think the value was excellent considering how many sites we saw. The Guide Dion was very good. Exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend seeing these places at night.
