The stops at the monuments and memorials was great to take pictures! The guided tour itself was unpleasant. The night of the tour it was raining, hot and humid. At some of the stops the driver turned off the tour bus so there was no A/C. That said, if you are quick, like me, to take pictures and get back to the bus, you had to decide to sit in a hot, humid bus with foggy windows or stand outside in the rain where it was cooler thanks to the light breeze while waiting to depart for the next stop. Also, I didn't care for the tour director, Sally. She liked to hear herself speak and was somewhat repetitive. She also, very discreetly, let her political preferences be known which I did not appreciate. Lastly, I was charged a premium for being solo. The cost of the tour, for 2 or more people was $63. When I changed it to 1 person, the price increased to $72. I don't care about $9 but it's the principle of the matter. All this being said, I would recommend this tour for the pictures and the memories of the places visited. I just hope you get a driver who leaves the AC on in the summer and a tour director who is less verbose.
Godfrey and Sally are a great team. I had a fantastic history refresher with lots of new information that we didn't learn in school at the time. Neutrally presented but made us think about things. Great stops, beautiful sights, enough time to see and take photos.
The pick up location changed and I was not notified of changed location until 7:05pm. I was already at the original location because I was suppose to be there by 7pm. My uber was already gone so I couldn’t ask him to take me to the other location… I missed the tour and lost $138
There was an F1 race in the city. Made it difficult to get to. A lot of walking and with all the streets shut down my uber couldn’t get me there. Had to walk a maze of fenced off streets and missed the bus. Maybe a heads up for somebody. Ended up missing the bus. Partially my fault for not checking events in the city. Missed the bus. Complete fail.
We are sorry to hear that you missed your tour Please use always the metro it’s the best way to go around the national capital we have everyone show up .

The night tour gives a whole different perspective of the details of the monuments with less crowding. Sally was our guide and I can’t give a high enough recommendation. Sally’s knowledge of history coupled with the details of the monuments was amazing! Seriously the absolute best. Godfrey was our driver and was also a kind gentleman and enjoyed his hospitality! Recommendation highly! Thank you Sally and Godfrey!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately, unless you were right next to him you couldn’t hear him because he didn’t want to use his voice amplifier. The tour was very rushed without time to explore the monuments or read plaques and writings. We were just rushed through every site only learning whatever the tour guide knew IF you were close enough to hear him. There were also some left leaning political comments that started with, “Now I don’t get political on tours, but…”. We were constantly urged to take photos of sites through the bus windows, but you couldn’t really see or tell what you encouraged to photograph. The bus was comfortable and they provided a lot of bottled water which was much appreciated in the August heat.
Our Bus Driver was Godfrey and our tour guide was Sally. Both were very knowledgeable about the city. Sally was very informative about the city an the monuments. we had plenty of time to see each of the monuments and take pictures. The August night was hot, but the ac on the bus kept us cool as we drove from monument to monument. They had water bottles ready for us if we needed. Unfortunately the city roads were shutting down for the Grand Prix next week, but Godfrey and Sally were flexible and took us to where we needed to be.

This was an amazing experience! We were concerned about the weather and road closures throughout the city, but they made sure we hit all the spots. The information given was phenomenal. Do not overlook this tour!
