The light was golden, the mist was rising, and the ruins slowly appeared below us. People were quiet. It felt sacred. After four long days, that first glimpse hit different, it was emotional, raw, and unforgettable.
Thank you for capturing that moment so beautifully. That golden light, the rising mist, the silence—there’s something truly sacred about seeing the ruins after such a meaningful journey. We’re honored to have shared in an experience that left such a deep emotional mark.
We started hiking before sunrise, and the climb to Dead Woman’s Pass was brutal. I had to stop every few steps to breathe. But when I reached the top, the wind hit my face, and the view over the valley took my breath away in a different way. I cried a little, tears of pride and relief.
Thank you for sharing such a powerful and honest reflection. Dead Woman’s Pass challenges both body and spirit, and reaching the top is an unforgettable triumph. Those tears of pride and relief are a true testament to your strength—and the magic of the Andes. We're honored to have been part of that moment with you.
Well-organized trek with experienced guides who made sure everyone stayed safe and informed. The food was surprisingly great, and the camping spots had stunning views. Bring good hiking boots and altitude meds!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! 🌄 We're happy to hear you felt safe, well-informed, and enjoyed the meals and views along the way. Great tip about the hiking boots and altitude meds—they really make a difference on this adventure! 👣⛰️
From our pickup in Cusco to our final descent into Machu Picchu, the team was flawless. The guides were professional and engaging, the porters were beyond heroic, and the meals – how was it even possible to eat so well while camping? Five-star treatment on a mountain!
Wow, thank you for the incredible review! 🌟 We're so glad every part of your journey—from the pickup in Cusco to that unforgettable arrival at Machu Picchu—was smooth and memorable. Our guides, porters, and chefs will be thrilled to hear your kind words. It means the world to us that you felt the five-star magic, even in the mountains! 🏔️🍽️✨
We did this trek with our teens (16 & 18), and it was the best family decision ever! Watching them push through challenges like the high-altitude passes made me so proud. The guides engaged them with stories about Inca messengers (chasquis) and let them try chewing coca leaves (don’t worry—it’s legal here!). The porters even baked a cake for my daughter’s birthday at Camp 3! Machu Picchu was stunning, but the real magic was in the shared moments.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled your family conquered the high passes, enjoyed the porter’s birthday cake at Camp 3, and created those magical moments together—truly an adventure to remember!
