Absolute must do in Iceland

This was such an amazing experience and even though there are lots of people that do this at the same time, it is very well organised. Professional and structured so that everyone gets to enjoy without any stress

It was a fine experience but it wouldn't go back

It was a ok/ good experience. I booked via Viator but Blue Lagoon wasn't able to find me under my name. Viator booked me under Viator + my last name, which was odd. Males and females are separated after checking in. After going to the locker, I realized through the chaos I forgot the bag that had me and my girls' bathing suits. It took us 30 mins to "find" my husband, get the keys to the car, and get our bathing suits. Blue Lagoon did recommend that we just rent at that point but the girls and I felt more comfortable in our own bathing suits. Icelandic culture is to fully shower and then put on your bathing suit, which is a little logistically annoying. It's annoying to put on a bathing suit when you're wet. Anyway, after all that work we went in the Blue Lagoon, got our drinks, masks, and hung out for 2 hours. It is a must do in Iceland and it was nice but it wasn't an amazingly relaxing experience.

Unique and wonderful experience!

We loved the Blue Lagoon! We went directly from the airport after landing 6:30am and made BL reservation for 10:30 am. We took a cab to the BL and checked our luggage at the BL luggage building. It was a rainy, windy cold morning but we still had a good experience in the lagoon. It was not crowded at this time, the facilities were very nice, locker room clean and they give you a good size locker with an electronic lock that opens with a bracelet. You walk down a ramp from inside the building that leads to the blue water in the lagoon. The setting outdoors is beautiful and the water temperature is about 100 degrees F. You can take your time swimming around various sections of the lagoon. You get a free drink in the swim up bar and facial mask with your ticket. We spent about 3hours at the lagoon and got some food and drinks at the cafe. There are showers and shampoo after you get out and best of all, in the locker room, they have a mini bathing suit spinner to wring out the water and give you a plastic bag for your wet suit. Yes it is for tourists and it is expensive but it was a unique experience and I wouldn’t want to miss it!

Industrial bath

Industrial management of guests. No description about how it works with baths and the different things that were included. Cameras were allowed in the bath so the main electricity of the other guests walked around and filmed continuously. The bath was great, refreshing and the skin felt fresh after the bath.

We came to the blue lagoon right from the airport after flying from us. Such a relaxing start to our trip and great way to de-stress after a flight!

Great first stop

Unique experience. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We did it day of arrival which worked out perfectly and less crowded in early morning. Not too far from airport. We rented a car but I saw several transfers available

It was a good experience!...

It was a good experience! Very pretty! Relaxing! Clean facility. Didn’t get to take advantage of all there was to offer. No guidance once you pass the front desk. Saw some people with robes but didn’t know how to get one. Sky Lagoon was cheaper and enjoyed the vibes more!

Book direct.

Booking through this app was more expensive than others paid for entrance. They also had a hard time finding my booking and required getting the manager to allow me in.
