Description
Experience the samurai experience in a museum-like place with lots of armor on display! You will choose your favorite kimono and hakama, change into a samurai costume, and learn how to use a sword from a samurai. You will learn how to draw a sword, hold a sword, swing a sword, and retract a sword. After learning basic sword usage, they practice a simple chambara (sword fight). Then we will try to exterminate bad guys to the music! You can take videos with your smart phone, take pictures with the samurai, and have a great samurai time. The teachers are authentic teachers who have appeared in major Japanese dramas and movies. Since you have come all the way to Japan on a trip, you will have a wonderful experience of Samurai culture! The dojo has many weapons on display, including swords and spears. You will also find armor on display. Samurais are waiting for you in a space that does not seem modern. ・One person can also join the tour. ・Same-day reservations are also possible.

Awesome experience, friendly staff , excelent location and beautiful tatami to practice the basic samurai movements I'm very pleased!!

It was a great interactive experience. The instructors were awesome and made it fun. My teenagers were bouncing in their seats waiting for their turn. There were only 10 people in the group which made it so there was very little waiting. They were awesome!

Absolutely the best Samurai experience!!!
Absolutely book this if you are coming to Japan! It was so much fun. We laughed and made the best memories which they made sure to capture in video and photos for us. My kids are still talking about this experience and practicing their Samurai moves. The staff here is phenomenal they did such a great job teaching and making sure everyone got their chance to shine even my 1 year old! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Do not hesitate, book this experience!

It was informative & exciting. We got to hold katanas & throw ninja stars. Great for teens& adults. We got to wear samurai helmets & armor.

Become a Samari
Had a wonderful time learning how to handle a katana. Got to dress up, many, many photos and videos and so much laughter! Highly recommend.

This was the best tour we’ve had in Japan so far!!!! The experience was so fun and interactive and the samurai masters were perfect in teaching and providing guidance. They also documented the entire experience for us using our cameras so we could be present. 100% do not miss this experience!!!

Incredibly fun intro to Samurai sword culture. Small group, you are dressed in traditional outfit and then get to hands on learn the basic defence and attack moves. Finally you get to fight one Samurai in a movie type setting. All videos and pictures included. Staff were extremely fun and entertaining. Well worth visiting.
