Description
Learn the art of archery by trying a real Japanese bow (it might be bigger than you are!) and master the techniques of using a single-edged sword. Travel back in time and become a fierce Japanese warrior by changing into a samurai outfit and participating in a fun samurai training. Master will assist you personally. Mini games and funny interactions included. Don't worry if you are a complete beginner! Local guide will adapt to your level fully. Kyudo is a unique Japanese martial art with a long history. You will be surprised how different it is from western archery. The bow is so big it might be taller than you are! Katana is a traditional Japanese single-edges sword. Master the pose and the way of holding it to become the strongest samurai in this hot summer season. Staff will help you to take lots of pictures. To choose both of the training options, please, start by selecting Archery and then add katana as an extra (you will get a discount too then!)

We learnt how to use a traditional bow and arrow and how to wield a katana
It was an amazing experience! Our guide Joe (Sensei) was amazing and so helpful towards teaching us both archery and how to use a katana! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Japan!!

Enjoyable and energetic swordplay
Zen and Harry were amazing and friendly teachers. Happy to answer any questions and filled the session with enthusiasm and energy which was infectious

Expensive but still fun
Kind of expensive for just toy katanas. I wanted to cut things with live steel katana, but this was still fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly!! It was a little difficult to find the building.

Amazing Cultural and Emersive Experience
I had an excellent experience with Ru who led the kyudo class, and also Jo who greeted us when we entered. They were patient and also gave great tips on how I could improve my stance. I loved the element of history that they took us through in the beginning which made the experience more meaningful. Next time, I'll do the kyudo and add the katana on :)) they also spoke great English!

Was a very nice experience, Ru was very energetic throughout our whole experience. Got to wear the nice samue hakama. Jo was also very welcoming.

Ru was amazing with her guidance! My siblings and I thoroughly enjoyed our time learning about kyudo. She was very clear with her instructions and there was very good visuals to learn about the art and history of kyudo. I honestly feel like this made me interested in learning more about kyudo! Will 100% recommend!! 🏹
