Description
Find Peace of Mind with a 90-Minute Relaxing Zen Experience
Join us at a serene temple surrounded by nature to practice Zazen meditation and try simple sutra recitation.
It is a perfect opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, experience its tranquil side, and fully appreciate the beauty of Japanese culture.
This is not a commercialized tour for tourists, but an authentic experience where local Japanese people also participate.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath. We will guide you through proper posture, breathing techniques, and effective ways to relax your body, so you can easily practice Zazen at home even after your trip.
While Zazen is traditionally practiced in the Seiza (sitting on heels) position, chairs or stools are available upon request if you are not comfortable sitting on the floor.

Overprice
The experience was okay, the translator super nice and the temple very beautiful
However this price just to watch a video and seat 45 min on the floor without explication of the monk to “meditate” this is totally overprice
The price is insane for the experience
Very disappointed
Operator response
Thank you for spending your precious time for our experience.
Unfortunately you don’t like this experience.
However, this is the original, correct way to do zen meditation in Japan, especially for the first time for beginner.
This price is for booking the whole temple and real, well experienced priest and interpreter,
and provide zen meditation only for you.
Beside watch video, priest interpreter also explain and accept your questions.
Please have a nice trip in japan.

Great escape right in Tokyo!
This was a great experience! Easy to get to and a beautiful little space in Tokyo. Everyone was so nice and patient and the meditation itself was relaxing and rejuvenating. It was helpful to speak some Japanese like it notes in the description.
