The lavendar museum was better than expected! Very interesting and informative and ended with a touch of fine lavendar oil. Provence and its villages are gorgeous. Our coach driver did a fantastic job negotiating the narrow, curvy roads. We visited at the end of June during a heat wave, so walking up hills and through the villages was a bit challenging. We could not keep up with the guide due to my husbands knee problem. Unfortunately, our guide's english was difficult to understand so we missed a lot of history and culture. People should know that this tour does not include a visit to any lavendar fields, just driving by a few of them on our way to the museum and villages. Overall, the tour was good. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the coach.

I only found one problem: I booked the excursion with Viator, and they, in turn, subcontracted the excursion with another company, which created confusion when looking for the guide. In the excursion itself, the guide was good, with quality and overall good development. Final rating very good

Nice air con buses. Dropped us about 15 minute walk from central Florence. Bus waited 10 minutes on 2 “no show passengers” who didn’t turn up. On a negative note - we were supposed to get a voucher for wine tasting and a free glass of wine in Florence included in the price. This was never mentioned.

the tour was nice, but the directions given to the starting point by VIATOUR were the worst. I will never use viatour again.

Very affordable in comparison to the similar cruise tour. We paid 5 euros extra each for the guide to give us a walking tour of Florence which meant we saw all the main sites. The coach journey in both direction was very comfortable and we returned to the ship in plenty of time. Definitely recommend

I was nervous about this trip after reading some of the reviews, but this transfer was great! The guides in the green shirts were very easy to find and they held up large signs with the tour on them making it very easy to check in. Yes, it was crowded, but we had no issues checking in and getting on the bus. The bus left on time and we had 5 hours in Florence on our own. We did not do the walking tour or museum entry. We returned to Livorno with plenty of time to make it back to our ship. Much cheaper than our ship transfer!

If you don’t know where you are going in Florence, staying with the guide is an excellent choice. Florence is worth the trip!

Definitely do not take this tour, it was very poorly organized and a bad experience. It left 45 minutes late and we returned over 2 hours late after being dropped off at the shuttle bus stop after making a special trip to return other passengers directly to their Italian ship. We then had to take a cab back. The guide spoke almost entirely Italian, very little English on the bus tour/trip. They scheduled our tickets the the accademia gallery at the same time was the walking tour in Florence so we missed that. Very poor planning and execution.

Even though we had tickets, somehow our name was not on the company’s list, so we were not able to go to Florence and back. The company was Shore Excursion. They did put us on a bus for a tour of Lucca and Pisa, and the employees were very nice. We enjoyed it, but we had been to both places a year ago and missed out on seeing more of Florence. Also, a lot of time was wasted at the meetup place, while tour guides sorted all the cruise ship people to different lines for different tours. Then we waited at least 45 minutes for our bus. It was not a very efficient process.

While it was great to see the statue of David and the outside of the Duomo, there was virtually no time to see the inside of the Duomo, or even have a reasonable lunch. The tour guide was on the clock and she provided very little information to us on anything of historical significance. The walk from the bus stop to where the Duomo was not pleasant. If you left the group you had to essentially take a cab back to where the bus stop was or risk missing the bus and paying 300 Euros for a cab ride to get back to the ship.
