Took a while to get organized at the meeting point, then a hike to the actual bus, then a very long hike from the drop point to Florence proper.

We really enjoyed this Florence transfer and walking tour. The bus was comfortable, and our guide gave a clear overview of the walking route and what to expect before we arrived. We had plenty of time at each stop to explore and take photos, plus free time at the end for lunch and shopping. It would have been even better with more historical background and stories about the sites along the way. Although the tour ran a little behind schedule, the team made up for it by dropping us off directly at our ship, which we really appreciated.

Marti was a good guide that showed us Florence in a measured pace and with goid explanations. We used Our free time to visit Santa Croce. It was hot so the return to the bus was a struggle. On the return the bus ac failed and we had a miserable start to our return. The quality of the bus used was not the best as the springs made the bus bounce a lot.

Boarded the bus in Livorno. 45-50 min ride to Florence. Tour “guide” provided a map and recommended several key sights to see. Most of the sights were within. 15-20 walk of the bus parking area. The large Duomo is free to enter (ladies cover knees and shoulders). Would like to have climbed the stairs to the top (30 euro) but did not plan ahead well enough. It was hot (July), bring water. This was not a guided tour, more accurately it was a bus ride to/from Florence.

A good way to get into Florence but we didn't get much else. Check in needs to be more slick. Generally more information needed as we didn't really know what was happening.

The lavendar museum was better than expected! Very interesting and informative and ended with a touch of fine lavendar oil. Provence and its villages are gorgeous. Our coach driver did a fantastic job negotiating the narrow, curvy roads. We visited at the end of June during a heat wave, so walking up hills and through the villages was a bit challenging. We could not keep up with the guide due to my husbands knee problem. Unfortunately, our guide's english was difficult to understand so we missed a lot of history and culture. People should know that this tour does not include a visit to any lavendar fields, just driving by a few of them on our way to the museum and villages. Overall, the tour was good. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the coach.

I only found one problem: I booked the excursion with Viator, and they, in turn, subcontracted the excursion with another company, which created confusion when looking for the guide. In the excursion itself, the guide was good, with quality and overall good development. Final rating very good

Nice air con buses. Dropped us about 15 minute walk from central Florence. Bus waited 10 minutes on 2 “no show passengers” who didn’t turn up. On a negative note - we were supposed to get a voucher for wine tasting and a free glass of wine in Florence included in the price. This was never mentioned.

the tour was nice, but the directions given to the starting point by VIATOUR were the worst. I will never use viatour again.
