The guided tour, talking 👄 about David a lot. They didn't tell us that you can't have any liquid in your bag. I purchased two small wines as a survivor that I throw it away during security check

Please note that security regulations, including restrictions on bringing liquids into the venue, are set and enforced by the museum and are unfortunately outside our control. Worth the time to take a guided tour as you learn a lot of things you probably wouldn't know about the statue David and Michelangelo. It was well organized. The tour operator was pleasant and well spoken. And you really want to skip the line in the heat!
The meeting point was easy to find. Getting into the academia was maybe a 10 minute wait security and we were in. The guide Marcello was great. And there was a gift shop for more could you want?
Angela was our guide. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the sites she showed us was amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves !
Valentina was extremely engaging. And knowledgeable…Kept everyone involved with her commentary. Michaelangelo was alive for the group. Perfect length for the tour.

We had a very good experience viewing David and many of the other works of art in the Academia in Florence. She was extremely knowledgeable during our tour inside and then explained what other works are art were available in the museum.
