It was not good that the tour start was extended by 30 mins and the wait at the accademia was long. I felt like we were rushed to end on time. Your guide was nice but didn’t have a flag and I spent much time trying to find her especially in the crowded uffizi. If she at least had colorful clothing that would have helped. It also would have been nice to have a water break as it was hot and a long walk. Tour was very educational and overall we enjoyed it.
we had the best time on this tour with stefania. she taught us so much and was so well informed. she moved at the right pace and showed us everything we wanted to see. super engaging and fun tour.
This is a very good tour. Seeing David and the artworks in the Uffizi are not to be missed. Taking a tour to see them is best so you skip the long lines.

We arrived to the meeting point 15 minutes late due to taxi delays. We were placed into another group 1.5 hours later. We missed the Accademia for this reason, but, hoped the Uffizi Gallery visit would be smooth. It was not because the group entered the museum late. We had only 45 minutes in the gallery before having to meet our cruise bus.
Thank you for recognizing that our office team made every effort to accommodate you after your initial late arrival. However, we must clarify the situation regarding your schedule and museum access. As stated in our booking terms, punctuality is essential due to strict museum entrance windows regulated by the authorities. You arrived at our meeting point at 10:45 AM for a 10:00 AM tour, 45 minutes after departure, long after the rest of the group had entered the Accademia Gallery. Rather than strictly marking your tickets as non refundable no shows, our team arranged for you to wait comfortably at our office and merged you with the group as soon as they exited the Accademia so you could still experience the walking tour and the Uffizi Gallery. While we completely understand that traffic and taxi delays occur, managing your personal itinerary, including returning to a cruise ship, remains the customer's responsibility. Leaving a 1 star review blaming our team when your schedule was compressed due to your own late arrival and strict cruise departure times is entirely unfair. Florence and Global Tours operates on rigid museum schedules to ensure fairness to all punctual travelers, and we stand by our staff's efforts to salvaging your visit under difficult circumstances.
Our guide, Costonza, really made this a memorable and fun experience. She was so knowledgeable about the art, the history and the importance of all we saw. She delivered the information in a humorous, relevant dialogue. She worked with us with time constraints (trains to catch) and allowed time to quench our thirst and rest due to the heat. She was fabulous and I cannot commend or recommend her enough!

The tour guide was very nice however the organization that runs the tour is very sketchy. We showed up to the office and the tour left without us even tho we arrived early. The tour was booked for 12:15 however they left early because the tickets that the company had for the accacdamia said noon. They should have been more organized. Therefore us and another family had to meet up with the tour guide and she was already 30 min into the tour. I would try to find a tour through the company CAF or the tour guy, as the company who runs this tour is very sketchy. That being said, the tour guide was very very nice, just the organizers are very odd.

Rather than canceling your tour entirely due to your late arrival, our office team went out of their way to guide you to the group so you could join the ongoing visit. Second, regarding your comments on tour options: you booked our 2-hour tour package, but expressed a desire to join the full 4-hour comprehensive tour upon arrival. Offering distinct tour durations at different price points is standard industry practice, not "sketchy" behavior. Upgrades naturally require paying the price difference, and guests are always encouraged to review tour inclusions and durations carefully before booking to select the option that best fits their schedule. Characterizing our operations as "sketchy" simply because of delays on your end and standard booking tiers is completely unfair. Florence and Global Tours takes great pride in operating transparently, professionally, and strictly on schedule to deliver exceptional experiences for all our guests.
The gallery de Academy, where Michelangelo’s famous David sculpture is an exhibit hasLong entry lines but the museum is interesting. It has nice art and sculpture. The paintings by Bernini also were interesting. The Ufizzi gallery was a bit less interesting by comparison. The Pitti Palace had extraordinary paintings and artifacts.
