Jaime was the perfect guide for this incredible palace. He was funny and personable and knew so much about the history, the architecture, the art and furniture. My husband, who is not normally much on these types of things, really enjoyed how Jaime tied all these things together with the interesting backstories of personalities and politics. The palace is so vast that I don’t think a guidebook would be nearly as helpful and audio guides, while helpful, don’t allow for all the questions which Jaime was happy to answer. Great tour and tour guide, highly recommend.

Thank you, Suzanne! We’re delighted Jaime brought the Royal Palace of Madrid to life through its history, architecture, art, and fascinating stories. It’s wonderful to hear that his humor and ability to connect the personalities and politics behind the palace made the experience engaging for both you and your husband. Thank you for the recommendation!

Jose is the best docent
Our docent gave us a wonderful tour. Alot of information. Takes his time in explaining about what we are seeing, the history behind the rooms and what even the chandelier's are made of. Was able to answer all our questions.

Beatrice was a great guide. Very informative and had a great style of having us interact with with stories and history of the palace. Lots of information and on a crowded rainy day, but made the whole experience fun.

The best way to experience the royal palace is to join a private or semi private tour with a licensed tour guide. I enjoyed it tremendously.
