Great tour of the Royal Palace in Madrid. Our guide Pilar was excellent! The tour showcased the palace with extensive explanation of the rooms and the royal family.
José was a great host. He explained to us several historical elements related to each part of the tour with humour and brevity. The tour wouldn't have been as useful without his explanations and guidance.

Excellent, informative tour. Great tour with lots of information. Very large group. If I would have known, I would have opted to pay a little more for a smaller group tour. But it was excellent for what it was!

Jose provided lots of facts and stories. The palace is fairly new (less than 300 yrs old due to a fire) and not inhabited. It is more of a museum and event space. Lots of different decor styles and art throughout. Many rooms are air conditioned. Our tour group was 30 people, so we had ear pieces to hear the guide. A visit to the armory was unguided, but a nice little bonus at the end.
Great tour! Pillar was a wonderful guide!! Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the Madrid Royal Palace.
Jose was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and fun. I thought there were too many people on the tour. It was so crowded with our group and other groups it was sometimes hard to hear him. And the whispers only had a range of 10 feet from José so if you were not close to him you could not hear him and the device kept saying “you’re too far from the group, please move closer” which was impossible at times. Our taxi driver had to go around twice to find the meetup location. The nearby square would have been easier to find.
