It was really informative and our tour guide, Kamil, was amazing! He was able to explain all scenarios in detail, be ready for a whole load of different emotions!
Early start to the day. Comfortable coach ride to Auschwitz. English tour guide was excellent, very informative. However would like tour operator to be more aware that communication can be clearer and to wait for large group to be assembled before giving instructions. We were stuck on back of coach and by the time we got off, instructions were given and group was ready to leave. Breaks were only 10 min long between different sections, so popping to rest rooms or quick visit to book store was not always possible!
It was a lot of walking but ok for me. It felt a bit rushed I enjoyed the trip, informative and the guide was friendly and helpful. I booked with this company when the regular tours were saying they were full and not taking any more booking for a particular day
Very informative in depth tour, the guide was brilliant. A must see, vital history that should be remembered and the victims respected
The tour is a long day with 3hour round trip from Krakow, but very harrowing at the same time rewarding. The day can be long but ensure you pick your trip provider well, as we heard of some very poorly organised, early starting trips or worse no tickets available upon arrival. The experience with Viator was well organised, very little waiting at Auschwitz with an acceptable 10.30am pick up, dropping at 6.30pm . Tour was well organised in smallish groups and gave details of the history of Auschwitz and Birkenau from its concept to the liberation by soviet soldiers in 1945. Many of the stories were harrowing, and I came away with more knowledge on the purposes and uses of concentration camps. We had 3 hour tour of the 2 sites, but there was still a lot more to see at Auschwitz. The tour involves a lot of walking, often on uneven ground with flights of stairs in Auschwitz
Krakville tours sorted our tour out where other tour operators gave us different stories about getting tickets . we travelled in 9 people hybrid people carrier which liked more than going on a coach. All went to plan would recommend. Apparently you need to book Auschwitz tickets 2 weeks in advance.
Just completed the Auschwitz tour. Conrad our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The tour was just at the right pace and Conrad's presenting style was excellent.
Guide was informative and the camp was emotional and well informed museum. The tour itself seemed rushed, this may be sued to a late departure due to individuals not arriving at the meeting/pickup point prior to the set departure time. 3 couples were 15 mins late and the tour bus turned around to pick them up. This caused our entrance to the camp to be 20 mins later than planned, and breaks were rushed. In my experience from other tours, if you’re late you’re left. Many tours really emphasize being on time. The booking confirmation prior to strictly state being on time, and the guide emphasizes it throughout the tour. This tour would benefit from stricter similar guidelines
Companies like this one should not be allowed to post their business here- open for booking, only to tell you at the very last minute that there is no guarantee that you could actually go, so you not only lost your money, buy also the chance to salvage your limited vacation time for meaningful activities. This company / business should be banned here.
Piotr is a great host. The tour was educational and un-rushed. Harrowing and horrific - how those who survived, survived is incredible.
