This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My pickup at the hotel was right on time and both tours were very interesting, obviously for different reasons. Our bus operator Thomas was excellent re: his communication as was his colleague Christopher behind-the-scenes. (Side note: box lunches were delicious). The tour guides at Auschwitz (Lucas) and the Salt Mine (Szyman) were also excellent. This is a full day of activities and worth every penny. I highly recommend this tour! The organization and communication were top notch! Thank you for a memorable experience!
A very well organised tour. Good communication with the tour leader throughout. The tour was brilliant. The guides at the salt mines and Auschwitz were very knowledgeable and made each tour extremely interesting. The day went by really quick.
You've seen the pictures and know what happened in the past but it's nothing like being there & seeing what's left and hearing the storey's from the guide for your self :( The salt mines was amazing.
Had a very good visit. Was picked up at our hotel which was convenient. Were the first group into the mine which made it more amazing. Guide provided helpful history and insight at Auschwitz.
This tour was one of our best! We enjoyed it very much, would highly recommend. We learned so much. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Berta was the most compassionate and informative guide. Powerful artifacts about the horrific holocaust. 3.5 km of walking on cobblestones, so wear sturdy shoes and socks.
The trip was well organised and I was impressed with the communication from the people organising the trip on the day. It was slightly disappointing that we paid extra for a later start at 8 and a hotel pick up to then be informed pick up was at 6:40 and a 7 minute walk from the hotel - meaning we missed breakfast 😢 Driver was good, bus was a bit small and cramped and one of the breaks needed changing so was squeaking the whole time.
Thank for sharing your review. I would like to note that 6:40 AM pickup time has been caused by extremely heavy tourist traffic that day and in this circumnstances we are obligated to follow both venues safety rules - it's mandatory for us. I would like to clarify that we do not offer any exra service for later pickups. We have one price with pickup around 8 AM except a efw days during the whole year when we are forced to organise earlier pickup due to factors that we have no any impact for. You had to walk 7 minutes from your hotel simply because it's located inside restricted zone of Old Town area which is dedicated for local citizens only and all entrace streets are monitored 24/7 so crossing the zone means very high fines for company and ticket for our driver. All these information are contained on every voucher and in description of this tour so it would be great if you could put more attention in checking tour details. We do apology for noise it was not coming from the breaks but from rear differential. It's very modern 2 years old minibus but even modern cars needs repeair sometimes which we did straight after your tour.
Any communication is via text/what’s app, internet connection is vital. Delays may be possible, many tours arranged from same place. Driver was friendly and helpful. The tours seemed shorter than expected, this may depend on your guide assigned. Both tours were informative and well planned. Both were very busy.
Thank you for your review and the tour was 11 hours so it has not been shorter than expected as it's normal lenght of this tour. Museums are busy all the time however we always try to do our best to avoid any delays and in your case there was no any of them.
Well organized and excellent communication throughout the experience! The tour organizers reached out the day before the trip to arrange the schedule to avoid road closures from a bike race. We wound up leaving Krakow at 6:30am and got to be the first tour of the day in the Salt Mine! An incredible opportunity! That did leave a slightly awkward longer break in the middle of the day when our Salt Mine tour ended at 9:30 but the bus didn't leave to take us to Auschwitz until 11:20 but in the end it was nice to have the opportunity to sit and rest and have lunch and find coffee in town. I packed my own lunch and snacks as I have dietary restrictions but many others enjoyed the prepared lunch offered by the tour driver. Wear sunscreen, good walking shoes, and bring extra water!
It was many emotions all rolled i to one .The tour guide was amazing .I cant remember his name but he was so kind and respectful regarding the sanctity of the victims
