Our tour guide is better than yours! Yukon suspension bridge
Mikey was our tour guide, he was very informative and knowledgeable. He definitely loves being a tour guide. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Operator response
That is a funny title "our tour guide is better than yours." While we don't emphasize competition with other companies, we do strive to have the best guides in Haines and Skagway. Our impressive number of five-star reviews on Tripadvisor shows that we are reaching our goal. But it is important to understand that this is not an accident. Rainbow Glacier Adventures is very selective in the hiring process. Once guides are vetted and hired, they receive extensive training. I look at training as an investment, not an expense, and the result is top-rated guides. Thanks for sharing your experience with others.

Exceptional tour
This was an excellent tour. Mike was our tour guide and he was informative, entertaining, very knowledgeable of what he was showing us and made the whole tour an unrushed enjoyable experience.
Operator response
What a great review. This was one of our last tours of the season. It goes to show the professionalism our our RGA guides, that they keep giving great tours right to their last tour. Mikey will head back to Utah for the winter and we hope that he chooses to return to Skagway or Haines next summer for another season with Rainbow Glacier Adventures.

Great Skagway trip
Mikey was a great tour guide! Our trip was Amazing! We went on Sept. 11th. My husband and I were his only guests! No clouds or fog in the sky , So we could see glaciers from many miles away! We saw many waterfalls and did the Suspension Bridge! Sights were amazing that day! Only wish is if we could have gone to the cemetary and Bridal falls. I guess , I could have asked. It was a Great trip !
Operator response

Amazing experience
Gil was our tour guide, and he did an amazing job, keeping the pace, finding interesting points to make, and showing us incredible views and vistas of interest. We happen to be blessed with a gorgeous weather day for our tour. You could see key features for miles. But Gil made it very special for my group.
Operator response
So happy to read this review. Every few years, we get nice weather in September and they are special. Fresh snow up high in the mountain, falls colors on the tundra. Gil is an amazing guide and we appreciate him.

Beautiful scenery and great information.
Our driver/ guide, Nicole, was pleasant, informative and gave us a great trip to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. She used her knowledge to avoid heavy crowds which always make an experience more enjoyable. Lovely sites and a good tour - especially for our second visit to Skagway
Operator response
So glad to see that you chose us to show you a different side of Skagway on your second visit there. The majority of visitors travel via the train and we provide a more personalized alternative.

A great experience with a great guide!
We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion with Gil. He was polite, informative, and patient. The stop at the suspension bridge was fun. It was a sunny, clear day, and we were able to enjoy the scenery at the bridge and several other stops. We never felt rushed. We took this excursion as an alternative to the train ride, and we don’t regret the choice.
Operator response
So glad to hear you enjoyed your trip with us and they you don't regret choosing us over the train.

So informative about living in Alaska and the gold rush
The trip and experience was good, in that it was a small group of 10, smooth, organised and inspiring. Incredible scenery. But what made it exceptional was the amazing knowledge, commentary and story telling of tour guide, Gill - regarding the gold rush in Alaska and how it affected the towns in the south west of the state. He also helped us understand about life in such a remote and hostile landscape. I have travelled to many parts of the world - but this tour guide was on another level.
Operator response
Yes Gil is on another level and we appreciate him. He goes out of his way to make sure each guest feels special. He has done his research and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with our guests.
