Great tracking and informative! We loved that even if we did go off track, when we got back in car, the narrator knew where we were and picked up where we left off.
Aloha Rosie, That auto-sync feature is definitely one of our favorite details! We love that you felt free to explore off the beaten path without missing a beat! Thanks for letting us tag along, and we hope to join you on your next big road trip! 🤙 With warm aloha, Shaka Guide Team 🌺
The app keeps up with where you are even when you don’t have cell service. Make sure you have a way to keep your phone on charge in your vehicle. It did drain the battery. My husband thought it was strange at first but it did point out to us places to stop that we would have missed without it. The historical information was educational as we drove in the long stretches without anything to stop and see.
Aloha Julie, We love that the tour won your husband over! You also gave a total pro-tip about the battery! Because the app works completely offline by continuously utilizing your phone's GPS chip, keeping it plugged into a car charger is absolutely essential for a smooth day on the road. Mahalo for letting us ride shotgun through Yellowstone and Grand Teton, and we can't wait to hit the road with you again on your next big adventure! With warm aloha, Shaka Guide Team 🤙
Easy to use - great resource - gives good information about each stop at the park and the difficulty level of each trail. Would definitely recommend!
Aloha Shelly, Yellowstone and Grand Teton are big parks to figure out on the fly, so trail difficulty notes can really help shape the day. Sounds like the bundle gave you enough info to make good calls at each stop and still keep the trip moving. Mahalo for exploring with Shaka Guide 🤙
This is a very thorough and informative program to lead us through the parks, with great driving instructions and fun stories and history.
Aloha David, That’s a good way to take on Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Big parks, big drives, and a lot of stories tucked between the stops. Sounds like the guide helped keep the route clear while still giving the day some character along the way. Mahalo for exploring with Shaka Guide 🤙
Every other Shaka Guide Tour we used was excellent but the sound didn’t work on this one. We tried everything we could think of on our end but concluded it was a problem with the app. We tried to contact support but could not connect with them.
Aloha Laurel, Mahalo for sharing your honest feedback with us, though we are incredibly saddened to see this experience—especially since you’ve had such excellent experiences with our other tours. And even more sorry that you weren't able to connect with our support team when you needed us most. We always aim to provide immediate, reliable assistance, and it breaks our heart that we let you down. Because this tour was purchased through Viator, the quickest path to getting a helping hand or a refund is usually right through your Viator ticket. They're set up to help you with that right away. If you ever want to dive deeper into what happened, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at aloha@shakaguide.com. We'd truly be grateful for the opportunity to connect and see what we can do to make things right. Thank you for your past support, and we hope we can restore your faith in us for your future adventures. Shaka Guide Support
The drive audio experience was absolutely incredible! My hubby and I both retired from the Navy so really didn't relish being with tons of people every step of the way! This provided exactly what we needed, time together to enjoy the sights. We definitely will use Shaka for any areas they provide this at in the future! Will post pics soon and give credit to Shaka guide! Thank you for an affordable and enjoyable your experience!
Mahalo for sharing this! 🙌 We’re so glad the tour gave you both the space to explore at your own pace and enjoy that time together. Thank you for your service, and we can’t wait to “join” you again on future adventures. Can’t wait to see those pics! 🌺📸
This was great! It made our trip! We stopped where we wanted, and skipped what we didn’t want. The tour guides that you listen too are spot on. This was so much more affordable and more personal. I wouldn’t do this park any other way!
Mahalo for sharing! 🌺 We’re so happy to hear the tour made your trip more personal and enjoyable. Glad you loved the flexibility and value — that’s exactly what we hope for! 🙌✨
Would not have been able to enjoy our trip to both parks without these audio guides. Appreciated the extensive history and opportunities to stop at sites or not based on complexity. Definitely worth the inexpensive investment. Already recommended to friends.
Mahalo for your kind words! We’re so glad the guides made your park visits more enjoyable and that you appreciated the history and flexibility. It means a lot that you’ve already recommended Shaka to friends!
So far we have just listened to the Tetons part (Yellowstone will come tomorrow) but this was so worth every penny paid! Such great background info and fascinating history and stories. No matter where we were the app knew our location exactly and told us when a stop was coming up and when to turn. We really didn’t even need a map of the park to navigate. The app was spot on. I would definitely recommend it.
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Tetons tour and that the app made your visit seamless and informative. We hope you love Yellowstone just as much — there's so much more adventure and storytelling coming your way! Safe travels and mahalo for choosing Shaka Guide! 🌄🎧
This app was awesome!! We toured the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone for 5 days and it was like having a private tour without the cost. Highly recommended and we will use this app for future trips to other parks.
Mahalo for the wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had an awesome time exploring Grand Tetons and Yellowstone with Shaka Guide. It's like having a local guide riding along with you! Can’t wait to join you on your next adventure! 🚗🌄🎧
