Orca guaranteed sighting truly paid off. Captain Jared headed straight to the current sightings. We experienced two pods- each with a baby! And followed them as long as possible. Meagan, our naturalist, was friendly, very personable and a wealth of knowledge. Her enthusiasm for the whales was contagious! Definitely recommend. This trip is all about the whales!

This was a great tour, I’m highly recommending it. The tour guides were excellent, very knowledgeable, professional and funny.
Great captain and friendly, knowledgeable naturalists. We saw orcas and sea lions. Cabin was warm on a cool day. Flexible viewing spots. Parking was confusing - they had spots with their name on them in the back but they were paid spots. Park in the front for free if spots are available.
My daughters and I had a great time. The crew were so knowledgeable and circulated around the vessel making sure they were answering questions. We were able to see whales and were told the names and story behind each whale. The best part of our vacation to Washington!!!
Everything was great! From the comfy Blackfish VI boat to the captain Trevor and the naturalist Sara, Kate and Bruno who all talked very enthusiastically of the wildlife we saw. And these guys knew a lot which I appreciated very much. This tour was worth every penny!
Experience was great, the crew was amazing and very knowledgeable.
Great set up, awesome crew that was very knowledgeable. Be mindful that there is not restaurants by the marina so eat in town.
Good experience, a beautiful trip where we got to see orcas, sea eagles, and a humpback whale. Received a lot of information. Beautiful boat with space for everyone. Wear really warm clothes because the boat can sail hard and the wind can feel very strong and cold.
Our experience with Outer Island Expeditions was top-notch! We have been on a whale tour in Alaska and while it was nice, every staff member from check in at Anacortes to on the boat was professional, friendly, and educated on whales and sea lions. The atmosphere was family friendly, and staff members on the boat came to talk to every member and took time to get to know their crowd. Our time did not feel rushed and we were back within 4.5 hours. We loved every bit of our experience.
We had a great experience on a great boat. Captain Matt was very friendly and skilled and found a beautiful whale family for us. He stopped at some interesting spots along the way, and took us on a beautiful sail. The naturalists, we talked mostly to Megan, were absolutely fantastic! They were so knowledgable and friendly. We learned so much! This is our second trip with Outer Island Expeditions and not our last. We will recommend this trip to lots of people.
