Whale Watching & Swimming Shared Half Day

Nice small group outing, the guides are experienced and know how to find the whales. The water entry is done in complete safety

The guide and his assistant were phenomenal. We couldn’t not have had a better experience.We saw whales and were close enough to swim with them. We saw two lots of whales and several of them breaching. Totally AMAZING

Not friendly at all , The guide Caroline was unprofessional, and the language used ... she was laughing with the captain about people with limited mobility on the boat, she also spoke poorly of other service providers to other clients as if she were better. Pathetic moment. The guide was mocking and not helpful in the water. Tired, especially from her night out, she didn't hesitate to say so, and there was no searching for whales; it was up to us to look around. She wanted to steer us toward other service providers the next day... but why? A mystery. Avoid.

Nell, and Twokey were wonderful! They were up front with the fact that it was going to be a choppy day, but we had a wonderful time, and got up close with 3 whales. I would recommend this tour, and did to people at my hotel! Twokey took his time with the heavy chop, and did not have the ride to ruff.

It was fantastic to watch and swim with whales. Both the captain were very knowledgeable and reassuring.

Wonderful time with Caro and Tiki! We were able to get into the water with a singing male, see him swim right below us, and hear his song, superb afternoon, thanks again for the welcome and for everything we learned and saw!

Thanks to Floriane and Cédric. I was quite worried but Floriane our guide in the water knew how to be reassuring and I could with my family go swimming to meet the whales. A timeless, magical and beautiful moment, a childhood dream come true to the songs of whales... then we had the chance to see and swim near leopard rays, and also the boat to see a school of dolphins! A day full of emotions! In short, happiness that we recommend to all those who are in Moorea!

Our family of 5 spent the day with Moorea Ocean Riders in search of humpback whales and when we didn’t find any (none of the other guides/boats found any either that day), they took us out again FOR FREE!! The second day was amazing - 11 humpbacks, a huge pod of eagle rays, dolphins, flying fish and more. Absolutely stunning and life altering experience! On top of that, Cedric (Captain and owner) brought us fresh mangos from his backyard, pineapple, homemade saltbread, and other munchies to enjoy while on the boat. There was a great naturalist/tour guide that got in the water w us at each stop and also a photographer that captured incredible images of the experience. I highly recommend hiring them and we will for sure go out with them again when we return in years to come!
