We booked a private tour so it was just two of us and Ieuan our fantastic guide. Ieuan took us all through some of the Arcades along High Street and St Mary's Street where we learned of the history and tasted a sampling of foods. We had a full Sunday lunch at The Welsh House which was delicious. Of course we had Welsh cakes which was the first of many on our trip. We took a boat into Cardiff Bay where we enjoyed ice cream and walked around. All in all, it was a great tour and we were so happy with it.

If you’re going to Cardiff and you’d like to see the local side whilst meeting a friendly guide who knows how to get people talking, then this is for you. Some great food places with plenty of food served and a range of drinks, this was an excellent day and introduction to Cardiff.
