Sian was fantastic! Engaging, interesting, amazing knowledge and experience. We not only got to taste delicious local foods, but they came from independent shops and producers. And, we got a great walk all around downtown as well as recommendations for additional meals during our stay. Learning about local foodways is such a great way to experience a new culture and history! Plus, it’s tasty!
Chris was great. Took us to some great places to eat. The cheese store was so good, we went back the following night for dinner. If you want a good selection of food and a really good time, take the tour.
What a blast ! After being let down last minute by another company - Siân stepped in and I’m grateful to the others for cancelling on us. ! Our guide Chris was AMAZING , knowledgeable, interesting and welsh born and bred - we learnt a lot ! Our scottish friends loved it - cannot recommend this more highly - book now !

Blew my expectations out of the water. Not usually a fan of group or walking tours but this was different. Fast paced. Very informative. Hostess with the mostest! Loved Sian the guide! Accommodated our gluten free friend too!

We had the best time walking through Cardiff and sampling local food. Our guide provided history, stories and interesting comments about local events and personalities. Loved learning bits about the architecture and evolution of the downtown pedestrian shopping/restaurant core. We will further explore on our own.

For timing reasons, I booked a private tour for me and my son. We were lucky that Nerys was our guide. She was fantastic. Her history and experience with food and culture was really interesting to us. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had an awesome tour with Sian! She provided lots of great and fun stories of Cardiff and what it’s been like living there over time. She had a wealth of knowledge that she shared but also was very interested in her people. The food choices were also very delicious! For anyone visiting, this tour provides a different way to experience Wales instead of history tour after history tour. Highly recommend!
