Thank you for your feedback. Our carts do have a fixed rear-facing row as part of the standard seating layout. The back row is the same type of seat as the others, just facing the opposite direction. We understand that may not be everyone’s preference, although some guests actually enjoy it because it offers a wider view while driving. We appreciate you bringing it up.

Most of our guests choose the night tour specifically to see DC after dark, and personally I think the monuments look amazing at night. Of course, not every building or memorial is illuminated equally, and that part is outside of our control. We also understand your comment about the price. I truly wish the cost of operating sightseeing tours in Washington, DC were lower so we could charge less. We intentionally keep our tours small-group rather than offering a crowded bus-style experience, and we work hard to make the tour comfortable, personal, and enjoyable.
