Booking not honoured and poor communication
I made a booking to do an open door helicopter tour over Rio. My booking was for one person, so understand I would have been flying with others. The booking was made in advance and was confirmed. I arrived on time and was asked to sit in a room and waited for well over an hour. Throughout this time I returned to the reception desk several times, pushing for any update on my booking. I was finally told that others due to fly with me never showed up. My booking was therefore unfairly cancelled on me based on other people’s actions. There was no apology - just a shake of the head and a shrug of the shoulders. I travelled a good distance to the airport for nothing. I’m extremely frustrated about the poor service offered.

I showed up early at my 12:00 hour schedule and when I show up, they delay everything and make me pay and after they make me pay and tie me in the harness, they tell me that now I have to wait 2 hours and I can't leave due to the fact that I'm manipulated. So, after I picked my 12:00 time and paid for the whole trip and they tell me I have to wait 2 hours like it was my fault Showed up early to my 12:00 time and when I show up they delay everything and make me pay and after they make me pay and rig me up in the harness they tell me I have to now wait 2 hours and cannot leave due to the fact I am rigged up. So after I chose my 12:00 time slot and paid for the full trip and rig up they tell me I have to wait 2 hours as if it’s my fault

Your booking was made through an external agent, and unfortunately the arrival instructions were not fully explained to you. For doors-off flights, passengers must arrive in advance for check-in, payment confirmation, safety briefing and harness preparation. Because the aircraft operates in a continuous rotation, arriving exactly at the scheduled departure time may require repositioning to the next available slot. After your preparation procedures were completed, your flight had to be moved to the following sequence. At no time are passengers required to remain restrained for long waiting periods — the final securing process normally happens shortly before boarding. It is also important to clarify that, if a passenger prefers not to wait due to schedule adjustments, we always allow cancellation and refund without penalty. Our intention is always to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, never to pressure anyone to continue.
