Your adventure begins with a warm pickup from your hotel in Moshi (for Moshi pick up bookings). Relax in a comfortable private car, Tuk Tuk, or group vehicle as you drive through the scenic foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Along the way, your guide will share stories about local life, the Chagga culture, and the surrounding landscapes
Hike to Materuni Waterfall At 1,500m elevation, this 30-minute hike through lush forest leads to a stunning 70m waterfall. Perfect for Kilimanjaro hikers to acclimatize while enjoying nature and a refreshing swim. Along the way, spot native birds and learn about local plants from your guide. The trail is family-friendly and offers plenty of photo opportunities. Chimbo Point Experience Located at 1,500m, Chimbo Point offers a cultural coffee ceremony, local lunch, and panoramic views of Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Immerse yourself in the traditions of the Chagga people while enjoying fresh, local cuisine. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal spot to relax and acclimatize before your hike. Whole experience was great. We found Inocente and his place by accident. He was very welcoming and hospitable but he didn’t insist on us to buy anything, instead he told us about his family and ancestors. We book a tour with him for next day and we really liked it. It was interesting, vivid and we had a great time.
We had an amazing experience visiting this family-run coffee plantation. It was much more than just a coffee tour—it was a fascinating journey through every single step of the coffee-making process, from the coffee trees and harvesting to roasting, grinding, and finally tasting the freshly brewed coffee. Everything was explained with passion, and seeing the entire process from A to Z made the experience both incredibly impressive and highly educational. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel like part of the family rather than simple visitors. A special thank you to Brian and his family for their kindness, hospitality, and enthusiasm. If you’re visiting the Materuni area, this is an absolute must-do. Highly recommended!
It was a nice experience visiting Materuni waterfalls,having a coffee lesson at Visit Materuni Chimbo point,the tour guide Inno Msuu was good,he oriented us to the enviroment,hiking to the waterfalls for at least 1 hour such beautiful experience.I would love to visit again and spend my honeymoon there.

We had an amazing experience at the coffee plantation! Innocent and his team led us through a participatory workshop on making coffee- from harvest to brewing. Afterwards, we got to enjoy the coffee and sit down together for a delicious lunch. It was engaging and a lot of fun!

We had great fun making our own coffee. Full of energy from the cup of coffee, we started the hiking trek to the Materuni waterfalls. Amazing view and refreshing dip in the water! Innocent and his brothers were very friendly and taught us a lot about the local tribes, medicinal plants, farming on the Kilimanjaro slopes. Lunch was great. Highly recommend tour!

It was absolutely beautiful! The waterfall is amazing, and the coffee tour was great. I usually don’t drink much coffee, but this one was incredible. The people are so kind, and both the food and drinks were really good. They also have a swing that goes out over the mountains — it’s breathtaking! I can absolutely recommend it.
