Eric was a fantastic guide who gave us brief historical facts without lecturing at us the whole time. We traveled during the heat wave and Eric always made sure we were standing in the shade and had time to grab drinks. The tour was a very fun way to be active and learn more about the palace grounds. I highly recommend for people of all ages! Just make sure to dress in appropriate biking clothes and footwear as the biking did occasionally go up some hills and then we walked around a bit. People wearing nicer clothes and poor footwear struggled with this.
Erik, our tour guide, was great! My teenage daughter and I enjoyed listening to his commentary as he put our surroundings into context. We felt the half-day experience was just perfect for us. Thanks again Erik for a wonderful experience. We wish you all the best!
Very well priced eBike tour of Versailles grounds. The route was a gorgeous way to take in the sprawling Versailles estate, and to see the royal playground that most visitors don't plan to see.
We enjoyed our bike tour with Eric. He was extremely knowledgeable and took plenty of time to answer questions. The e-bikes were easy to use and made for an enjoyable ride on a warm day. Would definitely recommend to families with teens.
We had a fantastic time exploring Versailles by bicycle yesterday. We covered a ton of ground. The tour included a short trip through town, the Trianon, petite Trianon and Marie Antoinette’s hamlet. As well as the main palace and gardens. We had a great tour leader too!
Great experience and best way to see Versailles! Loved being able to see the grounds quickly and in a fun way.
This experience was outstanding! My teenage daughter and I had the best experience. Our guide, Bart was so friendly, knowledgeable, and caring (he made sure we were safe the entire time riding on the streets, shared sunscreen, made sure we had water, and even waited to make sure we made it safely into the palace of Versailles at the end of our bike tour). We learned so much and just had a fabulous time. Thank you so much, Bart for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this tour!!
this was hands down the best tour I've ever done! Dave was the ultimate guide. Warm, knowledgeable, attentive and funny, he made our trip. only 1% of tourists get to see this side of the palace and we were so lucky to have gotten to experience all of the gorgeous historical grounds of Versailles. 100% would recommend!
Frederic was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, funny, easy to understand. Wonderful time all around, and highly recommend!
We enjoyed seeing the Versailles grounds by bike! Eric was a knowledgeable and interesting guide. Our group included a 6 year old and 78 year old and more information would have been helpful when booking. The meeting place is in town and riders need to navigate city streets for quite some distance. The small 20" bike available had hand brakes difficult for a child to operate. After a bumpy start we converted to a tandem which was great. Ask for this at the start if you have a young child along - I didn't realize this was an option. It would be helpful to have a guide at the end of the group bc we lagged behind and it was hard to follow the group at times. Overall a nice tour for experienced bikers and a good value for money.
