Tanya was such a ray of sunshine and an incredible tour guide. She had so much knowledge of the history of Rome and Vatican City and was super engaging. The whole experience felt like we were with an old friend rather than a stranger. She was very considerate of the whole group. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you so much Tanya!
Following a disappointing tour of The Colosseum the day before, we were a bit unsure how this one would work out, especially as we were aware how crowded the Vatican Museums are; however, we’re very glad we booked with Emotion tours and had Kate as our guide. She was warm and welcoming from the start and made sure we all stuck together (calling us her “family”) and did her utmost not to lose anyone. We were a group of 11 and access into the site was very easy and definitely quicker than had we visited on our own. We knew we wouldn’t be visiting every part of the museums as they are so vast, but Kate ensured we saw as much as possible, bearing in mind the crowds, and gave us time to take photographs, all the time holding up her red “bobble” so we knew where she was! She interacted with the group and found out where we all came from. Kate spent time outside the museums explaining about the Sistine chapel so we knew what to expect and what to look out for (chihuahuas and other cheeky things!) when we had our 15-20mins inside. We had access to St Peter’s Basilica, which was amazing, and Kate guided us round many of the special things there, and fed us interesting information as we went round - she knows so much and was happy to answer any questions. We had a great time, despite the crowds and our aching legs, and happily went round the basilica again after Kate left us at the end of the tour. It was good to learn that St Paul’s in the UK comes second behind St Peter’s in the world’s largest basilica competition- Silver medal!! I would recommend this tour, especially with Kate as your guide. Thank you.
Our tour of the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel were exceptionally stunning under the guidance of our tour guide Kate with Emotion.Club Tours. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Vatican which added such depth to the visit. We are so glad we booked this tour. The only down side was the overcrowded conditions, especially in the museums and the Sistine Chapel. The crowds took away from the experience a bit, but these are must see places. We will never forget the beauty of it all. And thank you, Kate, for your expert guidance!
Realized I wouldn't make the meeting time for my tour so I immediately reached out via viator app to connect with my organizer who then put me and the your operator in touch via WhatsApp. The tour operator was able to assist with getting me caught up with my group before I missed any of the tour. Kate, the tour guide provided excellent explanations about the museum, Sistine chapel, Vatican and St Peter's Basilica. The only improvement I would offer from my perspective is different listening devices, the over the ear earpiece did not stay in my ears, I have small ears, others on the group didn't seem to have an issue with it but another option would have been preferred to holding the hearing device to my ears for the 3 hours. We were offered several water and bathroom opportunities. Shout out to Elena and Kate and the Viator tour organizer for helping me get connected with the group when I ran late. 😃🌞💯
Our guide was excellent! She was very informative and careful to give us a good experience and keep us all together!
With the crowds and the extreme heat, this tour could’ve been grueling but Kate brought the energy and knowledge that made our group forget how hot and sweaty we all were and how exhausted we felt. She brought these historical landmarks and their amazing works of art to life! She continuously counted our numbers and encouraged us to continue on our journey through Roman history. A++ for this tour guide and the experience she provided for us all!
Our guide Kate was awesome and gave us a thorough tour of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Truly a great visit.
This tour was a wonderful way to view all the must sees in Vatican City. It’s warm in the summer and only the Sistine Chapel in cool so be prepared. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was clear he is passionate about the treasures and the history that lie within the walls. This tour is a must do!! P.S. small group is the way to go!
Our guide Kate was just perfect. She got us through the incredibly thick crowds of visitors briskly and took us to ideal spots to talk over the history. She was clear and knows her subjects of the Vatican and all that entails incredibly well. Many times she demonstrated her knowledge of other countries' interactions and contributions to the Vatican by bringing them up with members of our tour whose home countries spanned the globe. She made the Vatican a really wonderful place and showed us the incredible artwork collections that we didn't know the Vatican held.
