Equivalent to 40 stories, our viewing deck is the most iconic landmark in Vancouver. Enjoy 360-degree views of Gastown, Coal Harbour, Stanley Park, the majestic North Shore Mountains and the Olympic Peninsula Mountains from the Harbour Center's panoramic observation deck. The Vancouver Lookout is open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week with the last elevator taking guests up at 5:30 pm. Please check our website for any early or special closures.

Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977. Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck. We recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure that the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience. *NOTE: The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing time. Vancouver From Above
Its always nice to go to one of these when you have been in the city a while and have an idea of the layout of the area and what you are actually looking at. Located between the Financial District and Gastown and costing $23 per adult its a fine activity to do but by no means essential.

Not Impressed
Having experienced other towers this one was very under whelming not worth the bother. Interior needs refurbishment. Staff need to engage as show no interest in visitors.

Beautiful view over the city
Very uncomplicated and pleasant process, does not feel like mass tourism. Once at the top, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the city. For small children, there are aids so that they too can marvel at the view. Of course not as magnificent and pompous as a World Trade Center or the Burj Khalifa, but down-to-earth and honest. You do not need to plan for more than 15-30 min.

Humble experience when compared to Seattle
Nice experience but it was less exiting & advanced when compared to the “”Space Needle tower in Seattle” even though the fees were cheaper. Dr. Mazin_Alsarraf September 2026

Must See
The views were spectacular. You're able to get a full 360 look at all of Vancouver. The free audio guide was informative as you move around the tower. The glass elevator ride up and down was an additional experience as well.

Great panoramic view of...
Great panoramic view of Vancouver, free Wi-Fi to listen to the audio guide with good information about the city. There are chairs and tables to eat and drink with a great view—so definitely bring a picnic!

Arrive early
Arrive early! we arrived at 6:40p and they were closed. Didn't get to go. Never saw the view had to leave the next day

Good way to start our visit to Vancouver. The free audio guide was very interesting. Great view of the city, and cool ride up on the elevator on the paused of the building.

Good value for money.
First place we have been to that tells you how much it cost including taxes which was great. Was about £12.50 each. Not as high as a lot of the buildings in Vancouver, which was a bit strange, but was still fairly high up. Had a good complementary audio guide that lasts about 15 minutes and then there are loads of information points around the deck which were good. Staff were really helpful from start to finish as well. Would definitely recommend.
