Tour from Naples to Pompeii and Winery

Our trip to the winery and Pompeii was perfect for our family. Lentino Driver Tours set up the whole experience. We love Tomasso, our driver. This is our second visit to the Sorrento area and Tomasso, Lentino Driver, is the only service we use. He is so friendly and always on time.

Found Lentino Driver and Tommaso through TripAdvisor and a mountain of great reviews. Our experience was in line with everything we read. Booked Tommaso for travel between Napoli Centrale and Sorrento and added a guided tour of Pompeii, a climb to the top of Vesuvius, and a wine tasting lunch at a winery on the mountainside. As a driver Tommaso is punctual, safe, and provides a clean ride in a Mercedes van....but even better is that he’s really personable and fun, and makes the long rides (traffic around this area is miserable) enjoyable. His associate Enzo gave us a two-hour private tour in Pompeii and was both highly knowledgeable and entertaining, really making the tour pop - highly recommend him as well. Tommaso and I traded probably two dozen notes back and forth in March to set up this trip in October, and frankly you can customize pretty much the whole thing to your liking. Tommaso was very prompt responding and kept making suggestions until we dialed in exactly what my wife and I wanted. I don’t know how prices compare with other drivers - I was very happy with Tommaso’s attentiveness from the beginning and didn’t shop around, but I have no regrets....If I’m ever back in Sorrento I’ll be sure to hire him again.
