We booked this semi private tour as we wanted a small group tour of Pompeii. Andrea met us at the meeting point on time (early in fact) & Francisco our driver was excellent. Thomas was our guide in Pompeii, he was knowledgeable but was not so friendly. It felt very rushed and one of party said so, he explained he wanted us to see as much as possible in 2 hours but we got back to the exit a good 20 minutes before the end of the 2 hours for us to ask questions, none of us did. So two hours was not long enough if you want to have a good look as the site is big. Thomas was not the friendliest tour guide we have met! We went on to the restaurant stop which was in a great location and the food and service was excellent. Final stop was the climb to Mont Vesuvius. It was a hard climb but worth it. The organisation of this tour was brilliant but just slightly let down by the tour guide in Pompeii, which is no fault of Andrea, who was friendly and lovely. It's luck of the draw who your guide is in Pompeii, so I still scored it 5*.

Great time with Francisco and Luciano
There was a little hiccup with Chase Travel communicating our pickup but World tour was responsive and told us where to go for pick up let our guide know. The tour itself was great and we had Francisco who was warm, friendly and funny and Luciano as the amazing driver who was so kind to drop us off at our hotel. Pompeii was a great historical experience and we could not have appreciated it without our guide Alessio. Lunch was delicious and the hike up Mt. Vesuvius had beautiful views of the city and the ocean all along the way with a wondrous view of the crater. 100% recommend!

Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii tour
The day was great. Everything was on time. Our tour guide Francisco was awesome. Luciano the bus driver kept us safe on the curved roads up the mountain. Lunch was wonderful. Would highly recommend this tour.
