If you're booking this Tokyo tour ask for Taro by name. You won't regret it. Taro was one of the best tour guides we have ever had, and we have had many. He was professional, very knowledgeable, fluent in English, patient and accommodating. My wife and I are mobility impaired, and he carefully designed the tour to meet our needs, once he became aware of them. I especially appreciated him explaining the Shinto and Buddhist religions and how to perform their customs at each one. He was even kind enough to buy us a specially designed book where a temple employee could draw a stamp at each temple or shrine as a memento.
Nori is a very nice and knowledgeable tour guide, friendly, kind and extremely helpful. He structured a great 4-hour tour for us covering Asakusa and Senso-ji, Kappabashi and Tsukiji Outer Market. The tour was very well organised and relaxed, and Nori shared lots of interesting information along the way. We really enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend him.
Our guide Keiji met us at our hotel which made the meetup stress free. We had an informative stroll through the Imperial Palace East Gardens and the Keiji assisted as we purchased subway passes and then made our way to the Shibuya Crossing and Temple.
I enjoyed learning about the local history, customs, religion as we visited the local sights. We also had our guide show us how to get train/subway passes and how to navigate the public transportation! Then we got local information on where and what to eat.
