We have had a wonderful expérience in the Tijuca Forest. This was our first day in Rio and this was really a good surprise and a good moment with the guide and my family We managed to avoid people and enjoyed a lot this walk

A half-day hike guided tour in Tijuca Forest National Park, one of the biggest urban rainforests in the world. Our experienced guides will take you on an amazing adventure hiking up one of the most stunning summits in Rio. You'll visit Pedra Bonita (696m=2283ft) a popular lookout in the Tijuca Rainforest with amazing views to the coastline of the city and a view to Gavea Rock, the flat 'table mountain' in Rio that provides incredible picture opportunities. During the tour, you'll experience the nature and the feeling of being in the tropical rainforest. In addition to the fun and adventure our team will provide information and curiosities about the flora and fauna, like monkeys, quatis, and toucans, that may appear in the way. Amazing!
What an amazing trip! We had such a wonderful day with Luíza, her intern and the driver. She was incredibly enthusiastic and told us so much about the history of Rio. Thanks to her background as a biologist, she also had so much knowledge about the fascinating plants and animals that live here. She really took the time to answer all our questions and spoke excellent English, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They were all so kind. The viewpoints were absolutely breathtaking, and the hike was just the right length. Everything was very well organized, and we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day. All in all, it was a fun, interesting, and unforgettable experience that we would definitely recommend! We had an amazing day! 🌿🌴

Wonderful experience in Rio
Our forest guide Gustavo was absolutely wonderful! He had rich knowledge about this forest’s local plants, wildlife and history. He spoke clear English and patiently told us many interesting stories and facts. He was observant and pointed out lots of small animals and beautiful scenery that we would have missed by ourselves. He was friendly, attentive and kept a relaxed pace for our group. He cared about our safety all the time and made our walk in the forest fun and unforgettable. We really enjoyed the tour with him and highly recommend this guide!

Best tour we took in Rio!
We did the "Best of Tijuca Forest" hike with Luiza and Jungle Me, and it was hands-down the best tour of our Rio trip! Luiza was incredibly knowledgeable — she wove in local history and nature facts throughout the hike to the peak and made sure we felt safe while having a blast the whole way. Beautiful views, great pace for a moderate hike, and genuinely warm guiding. Highly recommend Jungle Me if you want an authentic, unforgettable tour of Tijuca Forest!

Relaxing jungle hike
We had a really nice tour in a very small group. The guide was absolutely professional with a background as a conservationist and forest specialist. He drew our attention to many small details with broad background knowledge. After many city trips and visits to sights, it was a very relaxing Sunday.

Great intro to Tijuca!
We didn’t have a lot of time in Rio so booked this activity which included a relatively easy hike to an amazing viewpoint, and a second stop to another equally amazing viewpoint. What really made this an incredible experience was our guide Luiza. Very knowledgeable, and incredibly enthusiastic. She was engaging the whole time, willing to answer questions and genuinely has pride in what she does and her home city of Rio.
