Try traditional footwork or brave a padded suit to wrestle a giant. It is a safe, hilarious way to feel their immense strength firsthand. ・Photo Session : Capture the perfect memory. Stand side-by-side with the wrestlers to appreciate their massive scale and immortalize this unique encounter before heading to lunch. ・Chanko Nabe Lunch (60m): Savor the "soul food" that builds Sumo bodies. Enjoy a protein-rich hotpot with fresh ingredients. Vegan and allergy-friendly options ensure everyone eats without worry. However, any dietary requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the start time. [Note] Includes the sumo show, costume experience, and a full Chanko Nabe lunch set.

Experience Japan’s national sport with a two-hour Family Sumo Workshop in Ryogoku—the heart of sumo. Held in a sumo-themed restaurant with a real clay ring, this hands-on event lets adults and kids train, play, and learn together. A bilingual MC introduces sumo’s rituals, followed by two former wrestlers demonstrating shiko (leg stomps), teppen (push drills), and suriashi (sliding footwork). Join them in the ring or watch and take photos. Parents can join or observe. Next, enjoy a live match between pros. In the final challenge, a volunteer puts on a padded suit and tries to push a 160kg wrestler—fun guaranteed! Refuel with a mini chanko hotpot, a protein-rich stew loved by wrestlers. Vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly options available with 24 hours’ notice. Soft drinks included. Wrap up with photo time—no extra charge. All ages welcome. No experience needed—just come and have fun!

Great show to get to know something about the sport sumo. Also good and enjoyable for kids. The lunch was good and for us more then enough!

Time what we spend here was amazing ! We really recommend this place. The girl who ran it was amsome with Gentelmen's Sumo was on top level. They gave us plenty of leeway in the fight, because without it, no one would have managed 😉We got to know the stories of these players 🙂 On the end we sitting together to try lunch. We went with our five kids ages 2 up to 17 and we all really enjoyed the show. The funniest part was when the sumo suit costume fell off at the front revealing a little package. The kids laughed so hard. The sumo wrestlers really made it fun and enjoyable. Very highly recommended experience for families. The food after wards was so yummy!
