The Reykjavik Cat Walking Tour

Description
The Reykjavik CatWalk Join Your Friend in Reykjavik for a Cattastic Walking tour of downtown Reykjavik. This is a City Walking Tour with a firm focus on our feline companions. We will follow in the Paw Prints of cats since the settlement of Iceland. Together we will explore the myths about Cats in Iceland and the world? We will even explore tails from Cat’s Hiss-story throughout the world. Included in our tour is a visit to a coffeehouse to sip on Coffee or Hot Cocoa and taste Icelandic pastry. If we are fur-tunate enough and the Cat gods allow, there is the Paw-sibility that we catch a glimpse of the most famous Cats of downtown Reykjavik, Baktus, Jonsi, and Ofelia to name a few. We will start up by the pillars at Ingólfur Square and our final destination is the Statue Garden of Einar Jonsson by Hallgrimskirkja Church. This is a Purrfect 2 hour City Walk in Reykjavik for Cat Lovers

It was a fun tour of the cats of reykjavik and nice to appreciate all of the Internet famous cats and neighborhood cats of reykjavik. Lauren our guide was interesting and funny and made the walk a fun experience for our family.
We loved the cat walking tour! Our guide, Lauren, was SO much fun. She knew where to find the local cats and fun cat art. She also shared a wealth of knowledge about Reykjavik. It was a fun way to get acquainted with the city, learn some history, and connect with cats!
We arrived early at the meeting point listed on the Viator confirmation, but the guide never appeared. I had to contact Viator myself, and the provider only offered times later in the day that didn’t fit our schedule. The burden was on me to provide time‑stamped, geolocated proof that we were present before Viator issued a refund. It was a stressful experience, and travelers should be aware they may need to document their arrival if something goes wrong.
This was a fun tour. We got to learn about the city from our guide and meet the cats who run the city. Such a fun experience! i also loved how we stopped by a local cafe for a coffee, tea or hot cocoa and ate a Icelandic pastry. It was great! I highly recommend this tour!
This was a great walking tour around Reykjavik. Our guide Johanna was kind and knowledgeable. She gave us facts about the city, history, and of course cats! Great experience! Would definitely recommend for any cat lovers.
Super fun and informative. Great stories. We had beautiful weather so some of the cats were out and about - but we knew where to go back and find them. Very fun
Neat and unique experience in the city of Reykjavik. Our guide was fun and had some fun stories and history of the town as well as finding the local cats to see and pet.
We both love cats and this tour was excellent. Not only did our guide know what shops the local cats hung out in, but he told us a lot about the history of Reykjavik and mythology too. We got to meet and pet lots of cats. At the end of the tour he brought us to his yard and brought out his cats for us to meet. It was a wonderful experience overall and We highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful time, our guide (Bardi) was excellent and our small group was very friendly. We found many of the cat “regulars” in or near their shops. We saw unique cat artwork and learned some history while exploring downtown Reykjavík.
The Cat Tour was a really fun way to learn about Reykjavik, the settlement of Iceland, and Icelandic Folklore, while also getting to pet some cute cats along the way. Our guide Kristin was very friendly and engaging. She shared some really fun stories and helped us locate a bunch of Reykjavik's celebrity cats. The cafe was cute and treats were delicious. Definitely recommended for cat lovers traveling to Iceland!
