Such a cool experience and super cool to show my kids. The history of world war two, it was a perfect way to spend the day.
This is a fantastic museum. The only downside is it is so big you need the whole day to see it. I spent 6 solid hours there and probably could have stayed longer. There is an impressive amount of information and exhibits there spread across 7 buildings. The 4-D film is interesting. It's narrated by Tom Hanks. One word of warning. There is a short film documenting liberators and survivors of the death camps. I believe it was shot in the 90's. It can be very hard to watch this.
Highly recommend! Plan to spend at least 4 hours or more. The history was no other, definitely do the 4D movie.
The WWII museum was an experience everybody should see. The nostalgic restaurant had good food and atmosphere.
Phenomenal exhibits, humbling/somber experience, and the 4d movie is a must. Allow yourself enough time to see it all. It is worth the time spent.
The museum is a comprehensive and moving collection of WW II memorabilia and acquisitions. The layout and context are very well done and make for a truly unforgettable experience.
Went with my grandson (20 yrs. old), and my significant other. We were there only for most of one day, and could probably have filled 2 days. We loved the Tom Hanks movie. Overall the experience was deeply moving. My dad was a WWII Army combat veteran who served in the Pacific. I noticed that most of the exhibits seemed to be related to Marines and Sailors. I would have liked to have seen more about the role the Army played in combat in the Pacific. I also wonder if there is or could be such a thing as a 2 or 3 day admission pass. Thank You!
The museum was an excellent experience. Very informative and the 4D film was awesome. The WWII museum is a must see.
The World War II Museum is excellent. You need the full day. We got there when it opened and just about saw everything when it closed.
