So I'll preface this by stating I'm not a drinker and I don't like the taste of most alcohol. That said, my husband and our friend wanted to do this so I said why not. Charlotte was an amazing host. Super knowledgeable, funny, and made the experience fun. Extra points for getting a discount at the end of the tour for the store on the first flow. I was happy we did this. A++

Thomas was so impressive! He taught us so much in a fun and enjoyable way. After the tasting, head to the patio for an incredible view of the castle.

Absolutely phenomenal (Yes, I went twice - this was the first time and I returned for more). Christopher was our guide and took us for the Walk of knowledge. We had pre-booked through Expedia since it was our first time. The tour takes about 1-1/2 hours but there is so much going on, you have no down time. the match the whiskey to your taste (there is a questionnaire that does a really nice job of categorizing your palette). Once you are through the tours, there are several of you in the group, but plenty of space to move along. Chris even explained the other tours that are available (chocked on the sticker price on the vault tours). Will look into them at a future time. Once you are through the tour, you have the shop at your disposal to spend to your heart's content or not. I went in with a budget in mind and still did not spend it all. Chris/Nadia/Gordon took care of our purchases. The best part was the limited additions and rare runs of select whiskeys. The down side is some are not or will not be available back home. So I bought while there and realize I will have to return to get more (great marketing ploy - wink, wink). This is best for those who want to find out the types of whiskey you should be buying for your personal taste. The most expensive does not mean the best tasting (to you).
