The Port of Leith Distillery is a remarkable new landmark in Edinburgh’s historic whisky district of Leith. This is the UK’s first vertical whisky distillery - in fact, nobody has built anything quite like this anywhere in the world! Over the course of 90 minutes, you will hear the story of the company's unlikely inception. Explore the world’s tallest distillery. Fill your own miniature bottle of New Make spirit. Take a seat in the QC LAB and understand whisky-making like never before with a tasting that takes you right the way through the production & maturation process. Enjoy this guided tasting session of New Make spirits, port, sherry and Table Whisky. All tours are conducted in English. Printed & QR scripts are available in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin & Polish (printed only). The tour script is also available in both Braille and Large Print format.

- Children £10.00pp (7-17 years only) must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. For Health & Safety reasons babies and children under 7 years of age are NOT permitted on the tour.
- Please be aware that you will be touring through a production facility with open grate flooring. There are plated walkways throughout, however we advise that you wear sensible footwear - high heels, cleated cycling shoes & open toe shoes are not permitted on the tour.
- All tours are conducted in English. Printed & QR scripts are available in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese Mandarin & Polish (printed only). We ask you kindly not to translate during a public tour. The tour script is also available in both Braille and Large Print format.
- The Port of Leith Distillery advises caution if you suffer from a heart condition, high blood pressure or any balance impairment.

Simon was a clever, fun, and informative guide! I'm not a big Scotch drinker but their products and partners are excellent. You can tell that the owners and staff are really invested in creating the best drinks/experiences they can.
Had a fantastic experience at this distillery! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The spirits were excellent, with great flavor and quality, and the tasting experience was both fun and informative.
Very interesting and our guide was excellent
The reception at the distillery was super friendly and relaxed. The staff member who did the tour (I think her name was Eve) was also really friendly and her manner was very relaxed. Walking through the distillery from top to bottom was funny and the whole topic was really interesting. The highlight was of course the tasting with delicious samples. Thumbs up!

Excellent tour. Very informative and innovative for this start-up that is changing the codes of traditional distilling while being modern. The scotch whisky is not yet available because it is in the process of being made... start-up to follow
