The food was spectacular, some of the best fish I’ve ever had. It was also so much fun to make my own sushi and share the experience with my family.
Wonderful experience- learned a very family-oriented way of making sushi. Surprising and very delicious!! The quality of ingredients and sake was fantastic!
Amazing experience. Very highly recommended! The food was absolutely delicious and it was so fun to learn how to make sushi from the experts. Wonderful customer service! 10/10!

Great experience, very friendly and well explained to assist us in learning, would definitely recommend
This experience was well worth the price. You learn how to make the temari Sushi and then can also enjouly it. Such a pleasant evening. The food and instructions were terrific.
Thank you for coming. We are very happy to know you enjoyed it . Hope you had a nice trip in Japan.
The activity seemed to be aimed at foreigners, and although it was Japanese, a Japanese interpreter was present. I got lost, but thanks to my interpreter, Mr. Takahashi, for coming out of the shop and picking me up near the police box! Me and my friend, Mr. Takahashi, an interpreter, gathered around the table and cooked temari-zushi while talking! The interpreter was very personable and easy to talk to! I want to talk to someone in Japan! But there's nobody to talk to! I think this activity is good for times like this! Laugh

My friend and I attended the Temari Sushi Making Class at FLOWER WALL MONE in Shinjuku, and it was an absolute highlight and nice way to end our trip to Tokyo! Nestled right in the heart of Shinjuku, the venue was a beautiful and calm escape from the busy streets, with lovely floral touches making it feel special. The star of the show was definitely our host, Koui. She was absolutely brilliant! Her passion for Japanese food and culture was infectious. Koui expertly translated and guided us through every step of making Temari sushi, those gorgeous little ball-shaped sushi pieces. Her instructions were incredibly clear and patient, and she made the whole process feel accessible and fun, even for beginners. She also seamlessly translated everything, adding fascinating cultural insights of the culture. Koui's warmth and enthusiasm created such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We were also thrilled to have Kai as our personal photographer. He was fantastic moving around quietly but capturing all the key moments: our concentration while shaping the rice, the fun of choosing toppings, and our proud smiles with the finished plates. Knowing he was documenting everything meant we could relax and fully enjoy the hands-on experience. The photos he took are wonderful keepsakes! The food itself was outstanding. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. We got to work with: Incredible Wagyu beef: So tender and flavourful. Super-fresh seafood: Beautiful salmon, rich tuna, delicate squid, and sweet crabmeat. Fresh veggies: Crisp cucumber/zucchini, creamy avocado, delicious sweet tamagoyaki, fragrant shiso leaf, and tangy pickled radish. These were served with light soy sauce, wasabi and thinly sliced pickled ginger. Creating our own platter of 8-10 colourful Temari sushi was incredibly satisfying. Koui made sure we knew how to season the rice perfectly and drape the toppings just right. The best part was being able to eat our beautiful creations immediately afterwards! It tasted as good as it looked, absolutely delicious, even if we say so ourselves. The whole package felt luxurious and well thought-out. Refreshing drinks were provided throughout, we enjoyed a lovely cup of traditional Japanese tea, and the experience finished perfectly with a scoop of smooth, bittersweet matcha ice cream – the ideal dessert. Final Thoughts: This was so much more than just a cooking class, it was a truly immersive and memorable cultural experience. The combination of premium ingredients, hands-on fun, learning authentic skills, Koui's exceptional guidance and translation, and Kai's talented photography made it exceptional value. We left feeling accomplished, full, and with amazing photos! Highly, highly recommend FLOWER WALL MONE's Temari Sushi Class to anyone visiting Tokyo. Perfect for couples, friends, or solo travellers looking for a unique, delicious, and warmly hosted experience right in Shinjuku. Koui and Kai are a wonderful team, thank you for such a special afternoon! **Rating:** 5 Stars
