Surf Lesson + Beach day in Jaco Beach!
Description
Our 2-hour group lesson is perfect for those who want to try surfing for the first time, as well as those who want to improve their technique. It is not necessary to know how to swim since chest height as deepest,you will be accompanied and guided by trained instructors. Come with your family or friends!! kids less 10 yo and seniors over 50 yo,will need to book a private class to take care of every detail and ensure the best experience in terms of results and safety. In our class, you will learn the basics of surfing and safety, reading the water, waves and currents, training the technique on land, and then you will go into the water.We recommend that it be one of the first activities you do, as surfing requires energy, enthusiasm, and a rested body to enjoy it to the fullest! After the lesson, Just relax in our beach chairs and umbrellas! Start your adventure with the waves and feel the Pura Vida from the beginning!!☀️

Pickup Locations & Times
Information about client pickup : - The pickup service is optional and must be coordinated directly with the school once the reservation is made. - Generally, pickups are made approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled class time. - We offer free pickups within the town of Jacó for those who need it, even if it is just one student. For pickups in Playa Hermosa or Playa Herradura, a minimum of 2 students is required. It is important to keep in mind that class schedules adjust to the tides, as the best surfing conditions in Playa Jacó usually occur between medium to high tides and high to medium tides, allowing for the best enjoyment of the waves and a better experience in the water. We are committed to providing a comfortable, safe, and personalized experience from the very beginning. Feel free to contact us to coordinate your transport or to resolve any questions. It will be a pleasure to take you to the sea!

Josh and his crew were exceptional! I I brought my two nephews to Jaco and we met Josh on the beach! They taught my nephews how to surf and they got up first try! This was their favorite part of their trip to Costa Rica!! Josh was so accommodating and took care of my boys! We feel like we met a new friend and everything about it was a wonderful experience! We will be going back and this will be a big part of our trip from now on! I would recommend this to everyone! I had a great experience with Josh and Dennis. They were able to get me to stand up on the board within the lesson time. I could use their board and keep practicing until I was done. I later brought my family to their beach for the day. Dennis was a great instructor that made sure I was safe and ready for the next step. The south side of Jaco is better for surfing and swimming. We enjoyed exploring the beach at low tide.

We absolutely loved our surf lesson with Surf School Aloha Josi in Jacó! We were a family of five (2 adults and 3 teenagers), and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The team is extremely professional, welcoming, and warm. From the moment we arrived, we felt confident and well taken care of. The instructors are very friendly, patient, and provide excellent coaching, no matter your level. They stay in the water with us for the entire lesson, which makes the experience very safe and reassuring. Thanks to their guidance, we all managed to catch several waves and had so much fun! A professional photography service is also available (for an additional fee), which allowed us to leave with wonderful memories of this experience. We highly recommend Surf School Aloha Josi without hesitation to anyone or any family who wants to learn how to surf in Jacó. Was there as a family. Josh and his team showed my son (8) ik a great and safe way how to surf. He gave us a premium parking spot, water to drink, beach beds and free advise for myself when I rented a board. Great team. I can recommend this school to anyone! 🤙🏽

My son and I had our first surf lessons with Josh and his crew and they were fantastic. They're at the perfect spot in Jaco Beach and they were a lot of fun. We were really happy with the few hours of surfing we got in with them. We also had a beer with him after!!!!
