This was a very interesting day,Seeing the production of both parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar was a great way to appreciate the amount of skill and dedication needed to get these products to our plates, The ferrari museum is as you would expect a stunning homage to all things ferrari , Due to lamborghini double booking their museum we didn't see this however Alessandro and Mr Cosimo recovered the situation brilliantly and the day was a great success. Thank you.
Cosimo (our driver) was wonderful. He picked us up on time and drove us to the various locations, walking us in then waiting for us when we left each location. During the drive, he made sure to point out areas of importance and tell us about the region. It was nice having the convenience of all the stops booked in advanced and a driver to drop us off and pick us up - meaning we could drink more Lambrusco! The cheese tour was very informative - wear good shoes, the floors can get a bit wet. You get to sample a lot of cheese at the end, so come hungry. We walked through both museums - if there are any additional items you want to do (stimulator driving or test driving), be sure to let the team know so that they can book in advance. We had a lovely lunch at the balsamic vinegar stop and learned a lot about the history of balsamic vinegar. Altogether a great way to spend the day.
Alessandra was wonderful, really considerate and knowledgeable and good company. Excellent tour and would highly recommend. All the stops were really interesting and def recommend the traditional balsamic factory and lunch and 100% worth the extra to do the Lamborghini factory tour part. Would recommend completely.
