This was a wonderful experience which we could never have done by ourselves. The roads at Monument Valley are primitive and you need someone who has the vehicle and the knowledge to do it. Our guide Andrea was great! She showed us everything including a weaving demonstration, took us back to areas only the Navajo can access, explained many things about the Valley and the Navajo ways and culture and sang us a prayer song. Totally recommend!
This was one of the highlights of our trip. The landscapes and formations were stunning. Our guide, Travis, was phenomenal- he shared so much knowledge and parts of his culture, it was a privilege to learn from him. The music and drum circle were really special to experience. My kids (12 & 9) loved this tour too. Full disclosure- was the check in process a little chaotic? Yes. Did our tour start 30 minutes late? Also yes. Did that ultimately matter? Not at all. The late start time actually resulted in seeing more of the sunset and how the light shifted across the monuments. It all worked out. Just sharing for others to be aware and to maybe have a little perspective shift in case they run into a similar issue.

Nate was very pleasant and had great information. He shared about his culture and growing up on the land. We got to see sites off the loop drive and his nephew gave a glut performance. Nate noticed my photography and pointed out different spots to get amazing pics!

We loved it right from the beginning. Pick up was easy, our guide Chandler was amazing. We stopped many times for fabulous photos, learned so much about the area, the rock formations, the native people, their history. ITS A MUST TOUR. The sun setting was perfect.
Very interesting tour, with the jeep you reach all the highlights of the valley and make several stops with plenty of time to look around or go shopping or take beautiful photos. A special mention to our guide Larry who told us many interesting stories about the valley and the Navajo and also took some beautiful photos of us and played music with a traditional flute. Really good and engaging!
