Itinerary
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

What an absolutely amazing way to see monument of the valley . Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. So much more to see than what the public has access to . Highly recommend
The navajos go into areas where the public cannot go, so awesome. Rental cars take a beating on the dirt roads. The navajo's 4x4 is suitable. Not really a 4x4, we were 13 in the back in the open. Jérôme our Navajo guide was great. He set the mood and showed us lots of beautiful things. I recommend it. And if you run into him on a tour like this one, don't hesitate to give him a tip. 3 hours of walking. Great.
The guide was great, we saw wonderful landscapes. However, prepare your backs; it shakes a lot, but it is worth it. I had 4 children with me and not once did I hear "is it almost over?" That says a lot.
It was a wonderful experience! Our guide had a lot of stories and really took his time answering questions and talking a lot about the culture and their beliefs and the way of life way back in the day on these lands.
Will Cowboy was an amazing guide. His knowledge of all that we saw (and beyond what we could see) was so informative and interesting. He answered all of our questions thoughtfully and gave us enough time at each stop to capture the moment and explore a little. We also enjoyed the handmade jewellery stalls and the Navajo fried bread at the second stop. The whole trip felt like a really personal experience and left us with even more respect for the land and the people. We highly recommend this tour.
Definitely invest the time to take this tour. Not only does one get to see magnificent views, one learns of Navajo stories and culture, Guide was wonderful. He taught us so much. Great experience
Second visit with Navajo Spirit Tour, this time with the family. Another memorable visit thanks to Willy Cowboy. I also want to highlight the kindness of the organizer who kindly rescheduled our time at the last minute. We highly recommend it.
We hired Spirit Tours for two sunset tours on July 2 and July 3, 2026 at Monument Valley and Mystery Valley respectively. Prior to engaging Spirit Tours, I emailed them numerous times with various questions about pricing and different tour locations. I was quite impressed with their timely responses and the detailed information that they provided. As for the actual tours, Spirit Tours went above and beyond what was expected. They arrived early both evenings and the tours lasted longer than expected. We had the same tour guide both evenings and she was knowledgeable about both tour locations and quite thoughtful about our comfort and eagerness to see and learn about as many sites as possible. Indeed, she was a very nice lady. My final word is that nobody should have any concerns or hesitations about hiring Navajo Spirit Tours to see Monument Valley and Mystery Valley. As a tourist, you will see far more of the sites with a tour guide than by doing it on your own. It is definitely worth the money to hire tour guides for these locations.
We were fortunate enough to have Sean as our guide through Monument Valley. He helped educate us on the valley, the history and the Navajo way of life and their beliefs. It was incredibly peaceful when he played his flute for us in one of the hogans. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Monument valley!
We had a a great time on the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area.
