More than 200 years old, this remarkable flight of 29 locks climbs over 200 feet across a distance of just 1.5 miles. As you explore the site, you'll learn about its fascinating history and ingenious design. If you're lucky, you may even see a traditional narrowboat making its way through the locks, offering a firsthand look at how this historic waterway still operates today.
