Great narration during the ride up to Greenwich. I also booked the wrong date through Viator and the tour operator was very fast to respond and fix my error.
It was a beautiful day. My friend came from Newcastle and we just had a great day. The tour was an hour and great commentary. Toilets were clean and there was a bar for anyone wanting a drink. We bought tickets for a return which was worth it.
This tour exceeded our expectations as we thought it would be a very factual dry pre recorded commentary . Ww has a 2 day pass so went in the boat a few times, each time with a slightly different live commentary - and various amusing facts. Would definately recommend this company
Excellent from start to finish- Helped by the sunny weather! The boat was clean and tidy, safety procedures clearly explained and the crew were friendly and helpful. Their commentaries were the highlight - funny, informative and full of local knowledge and stories. I enjoyed every second of my trip and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
My experience was great one we had a nice time.
I am so glad I took the Thames River Sightseeing Tour from Westminster to Greenwich on my first day in London! I highly recommend it to everyone visiting London—families, groups, solo travelers. The boat was comfortable, with seating outside and in. The captain/guide was fantastic! I learned so much about the Thames, the bridges, and the history of London. His delivery and humor contributed to the fun of the tour. So in short, take the Westminster to Greenwich tour. You start at the Westminster Pier and travel in comfort to Greenwich. Spend a few delightful hours in Greenwich.
We liked it so much we purchased tickets back the other way too and it was worth it both ways! Tour guide informative
I will recommend the Thames cruise with Viator not only because you will see some of London's most iconic landmarks. But the comments from the cruise team are pure gold. They are funny and witty and deserve to be heard by more Londoners or Tourists.
The commentary from the captain was extremely good, even if he lacked the official tour guide title. It was both informative and (as you'd expect from a seaman) amusing at times. It was ideal for me to get my bearings on my first day in London. It may have been in the literature that you can hop-off, hop-back-on, but if so I overlooked it, and if I'd known I may have planned my time better. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the chance to explore Greenwich before the final stage of the cruise.
Thank you for all the knowledge. Was a lovely experience.
