Awesome experience with the chef. The lunch he helped us create was excellent. The chef was very patient and completely explained every step of the process

An intimate experience, to discover Mexico through its gastronomy. As a chef, I share recipes of my own authorship, reinterpreting Mexican techniques from a contemporary perspective, using local and seasonal products. The travelers actively participate in the entire process: from mise en place to cooking and plating.

The B&B is such a cool, intimate setting to take a cooking class with incredible menu creativity. Sam was a wonderful host and teacher. He was very engaging and took time to answer all our questions and even share some culinary history of Mexico. What a great class to take.
Sam is a very experienced chef and instructor. He has cooked all over the world, including Michelin star venues. He is patient and motivating. You are creating yummy tasting plates and can pay extra for wine tasting. If I am lucky to visit again, I would ask him to do a knife skills class. I was excited to learn to make mole sauce. And the surprise dessert he made for us ….. coconut ice cream with mezcal sauce topped with toasted coconut. Sam, thank you for for sharing your talent.
This is the most gourmet cooking school I have ever done. The meals are restaurant quality made with high quality ingredients. Sam knows his trade well! Just book the class you won't regret it.
We had the BEST afternoon with Sam! We had so much fun cooking, laughing, and enjoying every minute of the experience. Everything was so well organized, the food we made was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful! Sam was so friendly, personable, and easy to be around. He made us feel right at home and really made the afternoon special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely do it again!
This was a great class. The experience was authentic and approachable and the food was exceptional - both in presentation and flavor - the best we had during our stay. The chef made this experience the highlight of our trip. Thank you!!
i did the cooking class with family including my teenage kids and it was a great experience. this is my 2nd time taking this class . first time was solo and now with my family. my kids enjoyed the experience and were completely engaged in the process and fully participated. sam had a station for each of us and assigned accordingly. the food was excellent and we would do this again when back in SMA. definitely worth the price and a fun experience. sam is a great host.
Fantastic culinary adventure with Sam and his fellow chef partner. I've lived in Mx for many years and am a huge fan of Mexican food but never realized the complexity until this experience. We spent 3 hours preparing some incredible dishes and the highlight was when we got to eat what we had prepared. Highly recommend.
Our instructors were very informative and helpful during the entire class! The food was delicious and I cannot recommend this experience enough!
If you are looking for a fun and authentic Mexican cooking class, please don’t hesitate! We had an excellent experience with Sam and his sous chef as we prepared some fairly complicated recipes in traditional ways using the freshest of ingredients and spices. And then enjoyed our creations with a wine pairing. Amazing! This class is priced very reasonable. We urge you to enjoy it!!
