Booked this flight seeing trip as just a flight but upon arrival we were upgraded to a glacier landing as well. We were not quite prepared for that and were a bit under dressed. The flight was great and the glacier was also spectacular. All in all worth every penny!
THIS EXPERIENCE WAS WONDERFUL. We arrived and were informed that the cloud ceiling was at about 9000 ft we asked if we would be able to see the glaciers and we were told yes but not quite as good as on a clear day. they asked if we wanted to change our plans we couldn't and decided to go. IT WAS FABULOUS. THE PILOT WAS AWESOME . WE WOULD DO THIS AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. Landing on a glacier beneath Denali what a rush. Thank you so much for this experience. John & Sandra Lott

Absolutely stunning journey with closeups of Denali and the surrounding range, glaciers stretching endlessly for miles, weaving amongst the mountain tops. We were able to experience the magnitude of the region from the air, an unforgettable experience and 100% recommend.
Even if it's not cheap, the experience is worth it. It was incredible, the pilot knows what he is doing and flies along the mountainside with magnificent views of the glaciers.

If I could have given a rating higher than a five, I would have! It was a phenomenal experience, and our guide was very knowledgeable. Landing on Ruth Glacier with Denali in the background was the highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend this tour! Worth the money!
This is an absolute must if you're in the area! The weather wasn't great when I was there, and even then, it was still amazing. Plus, the Talkeenta Air Taxi people were really amazing and accommodating in trying to figure out my best options. I was originally booked on a 1:30pm tour that was canceled to due weather conditions. They offered to rebook me for later that day, which also risked being canceled, to move me to another day that was supposed to have better weather (I couldn't do a different day) or give me a full refund. I opted to try for the 4pm which ended up running, but did a slightly different route to account for weather (they automatically refunded me the difference in tour prices), but the tour was still so beautiful and amazing to see these mountains from the air. I appreciated Talkeetna Air Taxi's flexibility and being so accommodating with options, and I'm so glad it worked out! I'll hopefully be back when there's better weather and can see even more next time.
