Snorkel Alaska

My wife (never snorkelled) and I (some) had a go...easy communication, transport, really friendly staff, every shoe, wetsuit, weight belt, prescription masks available. You dont need to be super fit etc, we had someone who also couldn't swim. Saw sealions up close, star fish and sea cucumbers, inc an Educational talks with these. 7mm wet suits, hoods and boots included. Went along the coastline and dived for shells and followed the instructors. Overall a great trip and about 1 hour to 1.15 in the water.

I was apprehensive, but snorkeling in AK was on my husbands bucket list. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well the wet suits kept me warm. The staff were AMAZING! My husband and I felt safe, educated, and had loads of fun. If I can do this at 54, so can you!!!

We had an absolute blast!!! Our guides Frank, Melody and Chris were so kind and went over all instructions very thoroughly. The wet suites kept us plenty warm in the water and we saw tons of marine species. The wet suits are thick but are very buoyant so snorkelling was easy even for people who aren’t strong swimmers. I would 100% recommend this excursion— it’s the best thing we did in Alaska by far!

Absolutely the BEST Alaskan tour we have ever taken. From the moment we met Chris, our driver and guide, we knew we were in for something special. Everything was well laid out and made the excursion almost flawless. We saw so much wildlife in the water and above the water as well. We can not recommend this tour highly enough. We'd do it again tomorrow if we could!

Arrived in Ketchikan on a blue skies sunny day which is rare for Ketchikan as they rarely have cloudless days. Anyways this is a really cool excursion to do if you want to do something different. You don’t need to be super experienced as a snorkeler as you’re given floats to help you along. The wetsuits kept us super warm in-fact too warm LOL. Hubby swam off into deeper waters but the guides initially keep us close as they show you various sea creatures. I was tired so gently swam along on my float. Hot chocolate and showers were provided after the swim. Bring a towel and swimsuit but that’s it as all equipment from head to toe is provided. After we got dropped off back in the town and had a good couple hours to explore further which was great as the town was much quieter before our cruise departed.

Clear communication, on time, great experience! Snorkel Alaska was a unique and fun experience. We saw a variety of ocean life with unique elements vs our Caribbean and Mediterranean snorkeling experiences

Phenomenal experience! Wet suits were great and kept us from getting chilled. 3 guides with our group of 11. Lots of interpretation and instruction which was insightful and educational. Focused on safety and communicated well. Warm water (alaksa hot tub) and warm drinks following! Great crew. Water was a bit turbid (on top), but with a dive belt once can get below the murky layer and see lots of starfish, urchins, cucumbers and fish. Really awesome experience

This excursion was amazing! Both Chris and Sophie were super great and knowledgeable guides and took the extra time to share insights into the life found in such cold waters. Getting into a 7ml wetsuit is no easy task and they were very helpful with tips and an extra set of hands to get the job done. The pick up and drop off were very easy as well. A highlight of this company is also the gear they use. I am a master diver and fan of ScubaPro gear myself and to see the quality and care they take with their gear sets them apart from most companies who provide gear to the public. Well done! If you are thinking of doing some snorkeling in Alaska, you should look no further than this team.
