Alaska Boatman Adventure with Southeast Exposure

Very nice!! Highly recommend! Not hard to do at all. Easy to drive. Alil bumpy at times but not bad. Had a blast!

Great fun driving the RIB for the first time, we all really enjoyed the experience and the scenery was amazing, even got to see a whale.

We had a great time with Rose on our boatman tour. We got to see some beautiful scenery, learn some fun facts about Ketchikan, and see some fish and jellyfish. We are traveling late in the season so wildlife was not as active as it is earlier in the season. It was fun driving the zodiac boat. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent experience and a very capable guide

No specific meeting place was given when they should say meet by the Visitor Center. Van driver Laura didn’t speak diuring the entire 40 minute drive each way when some information about Ketchikan and our excursion would have been appreciated. Being on the boats was pleasant at first but then guide Rose made us go way too fast for too long for no additional sights. It was uncomfortable in the cold wind and painful being slammed down when frequently hitting wake waves. I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

Rose was an awesome guide! We came across 2 whales, we went towards them, and she let us decide how long we stayed. The homemade cookies at the end were amazing.

Lovely time out in the ocean in our own rubber duck. Saw a few birds. But scenery was amazing and tour guide very informative and interesting. Would highly recommend Also the trip to their site was a lovely drive to see more of the town

Unfortunately, this tour was not worth the money. Communication from the guide/company was very poor, and the start time was changed without our permission, which was frustrating from the beginning. Once the tour started, the driver locked the keys inside the van, and we had to wait for another vehicle to arrive. This took away valuable time from our already limited tour. Our guide was fairly knowledgeable, but the wildlife viewing was extremely disappointing. The only wildlife we were shown was a bald eagle and its massive nest. We understand that wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, but given the cost of the tour, we expected much more effort and a better overall experience. Between the lack of communication, the unauthorized schedule change, the vehicle issue, and the limited wildlife viewing, we simply did not feel that this tour provided good value for the price. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this tour.

Scenery was beautiful. Loved riding in the boat. Rose, our tour guide was very helpful and made the trip so much fun.

Sara was a great tour guide. Lots of good local knowledge. The weather was a bit crappy, but Sara was able to lead us to some great sightseeing spots.
